I wasn't able to record this stream with Replay Media Catcher, Bit Recorder, Rip Tiger.

But Jaksta can perfectly record RTMP videos from 4tube.com

I've tried the latest version of Jaksta again (v 3.0.13) and had no any problem recording from 4tube.com.

I was wondering how you managed to download the program
and downloaded the videos from 4tube.com . I was trying for like an hour.

I would appreciate if u could give me an idea how to do that

Jaksta is an easy to use program. You just launch it and in the "Start monitoring" dialog window hit the Yes button. Everything should be downloaded/recorded automatically.

I like Jaksta and highly recommend it, but it is not worth buying if it doesn't work for you ;)

thanks , it works great..but it only downloads like 30 sec not the full 3 minutes which the video is...any ideas why.thanks

My recording was limited by 90 seconds because the trial limitation was reached. But you should take into account the message that Jaksta shows when recording from 4tube, namely: it records the video instead of downloading it, so it can only do that while you play your video.

I'm not sure about other streaming video recorders, but ... I can let you know this for free, :D although donations are welcomed :D ...
Jaksta (in the RTMP packet capturing mode) and Grab Pro don't have any problems capturing RTMP video streams from 4tube.com and saving them to hard disk

p.s. You are probably right about downloading from 4tube, but avid users can try to download 4tube videos with RTMP recorders or RTMPE recorders like freeware command line application rtmpdump.

I have tried to download from 4tube only software that records seems to be Jaksta (Replay Media Catcher 4) and even then its jumpy and freezes, anyone else found a solution yet?

4tube.com uses RTMP SecureToken protection.

Latest GetFLV can also download 4tube.com videos now. Please check it and give us some feedback.
