I'm a first time user of this software. Using the demo version of Replay Media Catcher on cams.com. Getting this error:

Code:
Internal error while trying to download RTMP stream
Exception:
m_nErrType = 11
m_strDesc = "code: NetConnection.Connect.Rejected
description: Connection failed."
m_strFile = F:\proj32\TestRTMPClient\RTMPStreamRip.cpp

If you have problems recording live streams with Replay Media Catcher, we suggest you to use screen video capture software.

When I try to record the stream with Replay Media Catcher, I get the following error:
Code:
Internal error while trying to download RTMP stream
Exception:
m_nErrType = 15
m_strDesc = "SWF Verification detected -- Sorry, these RTMP connections are not allowed to be analyzed."
m_strFile = F:\proj32\TestRTMPClient\RTMPStreamRip.cpp
m_nLineNumber = 912
RMC doesn't support flash video streams protected by SWF verification.

I wasn't able to save the stream with Jaksta, Flash Stream Hunter, Grab Pro.

Flv Downloader was able to record the video, but it was too fast.

Yes, afaik it can capture packets from flash player. And it was able to save the video for me.

I downloaded but it doesn't do anything for me, when I go into a streaming room in cams, nothing shows up??

Does the trial version record anything?
Also what adapter should u choose..

I have many problems with Flv Downloader 1.53. I have problems capturing many streams with it, but it works fine for me for cams.com. I use trial version and I tried it with free chats only.

Please note that you need to hit the Start button in Flv Downloader and then open the page with a live video chat.

You should select the adapter that is used to access Internet.

Freeware URL Snooper tries to detect an adapter for you automatically, so you may try to find the adapter with it first.

You may also try to test Flv Downloader on simple http flash video streams like the ones from youtube.

I've tried trial version of Flv Downloader on cams.com free chat and I can watch the video perfectly, but it seems to STOP downloading once a model goes nude/private?

Is there any setting that will make recording not stop?

or any program that will record on cams.com even when model goes private?

Unlike streaming video rippers suggesting a screen video capture software is much more difficult. See the following thread for more:

Well I got WM Cap (Registered Version)

ran a recording through a room, everything worked fine -until she went private and I saw on the WM Capture application the MBs on the recorded file was not increasing and it stops recording once she went private...

any suggestions now..

btw the visual and sound quality wm caps records on is amazing - definitely happy with it... Just need help rectifying the private situation :(

I guess they use Windows Media streams for private live chats (Many adult web-sites use Windows Media ). If this is true you should disable video acceleration so that WM Capture can record from Windows Media Player.

If they really use Windows Media Player, you may try to capture Windows Media packets using WM Recorder in the PRO mode or freeware WebVideoCap.

Honestly guru I'm confused atm lol. :o
Anyways I tried using WM Capture again and this time it didn't stop recording - but it didn't go into the private apparently it's only recording the active window screen and doesn't record the private show like a Replay Media Catcher would..

What do I do now.. :(

i cant access to the private sessions so i cant test it for you
but i can record the free show without any problem

Replacing rtmp plugin
  1. Disconnect the internet
  2. Replace the new plugin with this
  3. Start Replay Media Catcher (RMC)
  4. then reconnect the internet and start to capture

I don't have any access to the private shows, so I have no idea what streaming protocol and format they use. But it is really weird that screen video capture software has problems recording these videos.

Why is it everytime I run GetFLV it won't respond?

Can it not run on windows vista?
(yes I'm running it as administrator btw)

also I've gotten to record certain videos from girls with Replay Media Catcher (but that's only because they were FLV, most vids aren't recordable.)

Tried it with rtmpdump, but no luck..
