Amazon Video On Demand (FlashAccess / ENCV)

A year ago, I purchased a series that's exclusive to Amazon (no physical release, no release on other streaming services). The internet here's abysmal at times, and despite selecting the "best" streaming quality on the Amazon player, I get terrible compression artifacts most of the time. Sometimes I get lucky and after a few times reloading a video it'll load in decent quality and the same section will look fine, but most of the time it's atrocious.* To circumvent this problem, and to play the files offline, I'd like to be able to download them.

The videos themselves are protected with FlashAccess - the video stream URLs are ENCV and the audio stream URLs are ENCA, which from what I've gathered from searches is proving to be a frustration for a lot of people. I've seen some solutions mentioned, but most go into PMs for obvious reasons, so I'm left trying to figure this out on my own and it's not really my expertise.

Can someone lend me a hand into making these files playable?

* Screen capturing is unsuitable because of the quality issues I'm having. On top of that, the video itself should be interlaced but it's either been blended (in which case nothing can be done) or it's being deinterlaced by the player. I'd rather keep all the video interlacing intact, which is another drawback.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!

It's a TV show.

if it's just one show .. you can just find it on torrents

same tool that does netflix can do shows from amazon as well

you end up with .raw 300-400 GB file that needs to converted to mp4/mkv

Thanks for the reply!

This show's one of my favourites from my childhood - the Where's Wally cartoon series - and it's not really available as far as torrents go (and I think streaming is exclusive to the .co.uk Amazon store). There are a couple that still have seeds but they're often from bad sources (an avi rip that's a combination of TV and VHS sources) and several of the episodes are in terrible quality.

What tool are you specifically talking about (the one that makes use of the Widevine bug)? I'd be happy to use such a tool privately but I don't have the any idea on how to get it. HDD space / raw files are not a problem, I do a lot of work in restoration and have dedicated HDDs for various lossless video dumps to be stored prior to conversion or encoding.

I never tested in on .co.uk content ... so not sure if its going to work

also, someone might text you about software.. or if you google.. I'm sure you'll find it

best of luck

Thank you, both of you. I guess I'll try hunt the tool down and see if I can find it - now that I know it's out there, I know that it works on the UK version and I know what I'm after it should be a bit easier. Fingers crossed I find it and messages are definitely welcome. Thanks again!

Be aware that there are different versions and also reverse engineered knock-offs. The cheap ones (0.02-0.03 Ƀ) copy video off chrome's output to the OS, they don't decrypt the server file per se.

The pricey russian and chinese versions (0.30-0.40 Ƀ or more) actually decrypt the server file and have many stored authentication routines.

This is an informative post. Not any offer to sell (I don't sell anything).

Re: Amazon Video On Demand (FlashAccess / ENCV)

I still haven't had any luck tracking it down. I'm still searching at this point but it's getting increasingly exhaustive, but that doesn't mean I'll use that as an excuse to stop trying. I'm very open the prospect of a PM at this point, but if that can't happen then I do understand.

On the chance I find it for sale, or someone comes to me with an offer, what's the best way to distinguish between each version? Is there some sort of proofing to guarantee my purchase is the correct one?

I wanted to get the tool too but I had trouble setting up and funding a btc exchange account. I setup btc-e but when I attempted to fund it a SMS message had to be sent to a phone number that was registered with the funding source. I didn't have any of that so I gave up.

I suppose the easiest way to get btc is to sell something for btc or maybe do mining but that is hard nowadays. Besides all of that what is an easy way?

Re: Amazon Video On Demand (FlashAccess / ENCV)

lol there are no 2 versions that are sold publicly

just found some info from my source
Developer at torrent site that came up with this tool shared it with staff

one member of the staff decided to start selling .. while on tor network, it wasn't even an issue .... nobody really knew anything and there was very low number of people who had a tool .. and it was worth far more than it is now

but when topic was opened on bitcointalk and tool started to sell on internet (not just dark web).. developer banned person who leaked the tool and new updates are only for him ...so there will be no updates

1.9.2 (build 74) is latest version .. which still works, and should continue working really ..

if you are member of this site, you will notice amazon webdl and netflix webdl releases .. meaning there is a new version... but as far as I know.. only 1 person has it .. and it's not public, not for sale and it will stay that way

if your program can do amazon, hulu, amediateka, showjet and megogo .. you have the right version
