don't know if anyone's noticed but Amazon has changed their player and host it seems, anyone know how to download using this new system?

Well Amazon is now using mpeg-dash and not Widevine so I'm assuming that's how, but I have no idea how to download encrypted mpeg-dash.

how do you know direct rip and not screen record?

I was also wondering this, then I saw that the rips had the highest bitrate available on Amazon as well as EAC3 audio which is what amazon plays. Everything points to these rips being direct downloads rather than screen record. (Check an amazon mpd url in dash downloader and you'll see all the exact bitrates, encryption keys etc)

Stuck there too. I can grab the video and audio link and download both but streams are still encrypted :confused: .

Yes, it needs wvstream to decrypt the file.

Maybe I can make a request to Ntb/FOCUS/RTN/BTW who are able to download from Hulu and Amazon?

My request is to post General Hospital from Hulu (A Daily Soap) because the other sources (ABC and Citytv) don't work for me, but I'm kind of hooked to this series, so if anyone can post it somewhere daily?
I would be forever greatful (Y)

I have managed to use wvstream to process the license but it still can't decrypt. When I try to start the session it fails to decrypt soon. Anyone PM me a hint or something?

I am attempting to capture 7Plus (Australian Channel 7) videos using this method and I am still getting nowhere.

If you take the following show:

Kodi's Plus7 addon will find the following info:

I found a wvstream.exe that supposedly will take the mpd and licurl and be able to capture the video.

Though even though Kodi plays the video perfectly all I get is:

"Info: Successfully parsed .mpd file. Download speed: 2314Bytes/s
Info: Video representation: bandwidth: 2189790
last segment:0
ERROR: Could not prepare video stream"

How is Kodi playing the exact same video?

I must be having some strange luck. LoL

Anyway Episode 40 worked exactly like you showed perfectly.

Yet when I go to virtually any other episode and do the exact same method I get told "STREAM-AES" again.

Like Season 1 Epsiode 39 (Bottom Episode) gives me:

Which ffmpeg refuses saying STREAM-AES again.

It's like they are treating each episode to different rules or something.
