Hey guys there is is new Indian vod website lunched and i wanted to download the shows from them but i have unable to. I have tried adownloader and getflv and livestreemer but they do not work. Someone please help.

Guys voot.com has been added to adownloader so you can download it from there. Also the shows are only available in india so use a vpn to download if you are not in india.

Like a livestreamer or something? I am in india but adownloader does not work that well for me.

I figured out that their m3u8 url dont have country restriction so you only need vpn/proxy to get the manifest url but you can download it using your local internet connection.

For example, for this link: http://www.voot.com/shows/comedy-nig...dy-wale/358063

I got the following m3u8 url:

I pasted this m3u8 url in adownloader and it started downloading without the need of vpn.

Remember, the m3u8 url only offer 360p as maximum quality so if you want to download 1080p video, connect to indian vpn, paste video link in adownloader, wait until it shows all available qualities, disconnect vpn, choose 1080p and it will start downloading.

Ok guys here is the most easy step to download from voot.

Use uURLSnoope or any other softwere which can sinf video url.

1.If you use URLSnooper then you will get lots of links. Find the one that is mp4.

2.Like this:

7. When you get this link you can download it with most downloading softwares like adownloader, getflv or livestremer.

Note. If you are not in india then you need a Indian server vpn (can use hotspot shield) you get the first link but when modify the link then you do not need a india server vpn You can use your home speed to download.

URL snooper does not work for me, when i tried installing it changed the settings of my computer so i didn't bother again.

I found another way, it requires adownloader to generate the link and then you can use any downloader like IDM. Here i selected 720p to download.
1.

Now paste this in any download manager you use and download it normally.

There is a problem. 1) Method mentioned by ampal16999 dont work anymore. 2) Adownloader is able to download a mp4 file but I am unable to play that file due to DRM encryption used by voot.

I have a mp4 file, is there a way to remove the DRM from that mp4 file so that it is watchable?

Guys,

As mentioned by others in the thread, adownloader was working till yesterday. But, today only the DRM protected streams are getting recognized by it, and hence, the final file is useless [found after downloading ~1GB file :( ].

Any help in finding a loophole in voot.com to download the videos will be appreciated !

Bro move the livestremmer from your c drive to videos or some other folder because you know when we copy anything from anywhere to program files its asks for admins permission, same way when the video is trying to write itself into the folder it does not allow it.

btw, you can use adownlowder use the same link (this one http://video.voot.com/enc/fhls/p/198...mp4/index.m3u8) that you would use for livestreemer and it will be in playable mp4.

If you download it with livestremmer then your file whould be in .ts if you download it adownloder then it will be in mp4.

yes you can. when you have the link that all you need. then you do not need any vpn or hotspot. download it with you home internet speed.

For some reason, ABP route is not working for me in firefox. Is there any other way to get the m3u8 link?
