Re: MLB.TV Livestreamer Support?

I am also wondering if I can decrypt these streams.

Here's a live link:

http://mlblive-l3c.mlb.com/ls04/mlba..._complete.m3u8

Re: MLB.TV Livestreamer Support?

I used this, and when it attempts to open the stream it says no data...because its a live feed which is now over:

Code:

livestreamer "hls://mlblive-l3c.mlb.com/ls04/mlbam/2015/04/11/MLB_GAME_VIDEO_SEAOAK_HOME_20150411/4500K/4500_complete.m3u8" best
Can you post an on-demand/replay code instead?

If you're not sure which line code, run URLsnooper while you play the on-demand feed and then go to:

file>export>save entire table to file

Then post that .txt file on here so we can look over the data

Re: MLB.TV Livestreamer Support?

Here's a link to the on-demand/archive. The previous link was to a live stream.

FYI, the MLB Media Center is accessable without a subscription. There's a free game of the day every day as well, so you don't actually need to subscribe.

What does this have to do with my issue?

Has anyone tried it again? Maybe it works, if you add these options:

Code:

--http-cookie
Code:

--http-header

I tried an updated MRC, livestreamer, and ffmpeg with no luck.

I accessed the stream through http://mlb.mlb.com/mediacenter/ but the direct link is http://mlb.mlb.com/shared/flash/medi...+Grid&team=mlb.

Either of these seemed like they should work
http://mlblive-akc.mlb.com/ls04/mlba..._complete.m3u8
http://mlblive-akc.mlb.com/ls04/mlba...ter_wired.m3u8

But livestreamer says,
[cli][info] Found matching plugin stream for URL hlsvariant://http://mlblive-akc.mlb.com/ls04/mlbam/2015/05/06/MLB_GAME_VIDEO_ARICOL_VISIT_20150506/master_wired.m3u8

interesting, was this live or was this on-demand at the time?

i wonder if there is some sort of token?

what number keeps changing in these (in red):

Code:

"http://mlblive-akc.mlb.com/ls04/mlbam/2015/05/06/MLB_GAME_VIDEO_ARICOL_VISIT_20150506/2400K/21/32/22.ts", "GET ts file (relative)", "", "45447824", "172.16.83.128"
Code:

there also seem to be a lot of these "generate key" sequences:

Code:

"https://mlb-ws.mlb.com/pubajaxws/bamrest/MediaService2_0/op-generateKey/v-2.3?contentId=103564583&kid=20021306", "https 3 file", "", "45448616", "184.85.215.113"

so this url plays without any login, the on-demand feed:
Code:

so i ran rtmpdumphelper on "serve" mode and got this download of cumulative files, with the most recent and largest file playing the whole video...so this will work and download the whole game, but your folder will have a bunch of smaller files...but the most recent and largest file has the whole thing start to finish:

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I must be doing something wrong. When I run rtmpdumphelper in either mode, the only command prompt output I get is
Code:

RTMP Server 2.4 GIT-2015-01-15 (Compiled by KSV)
(c) 2010 [etc., etc.]

Streaming on rtmp://0.0.0.0:1935

I tried launching the browser before rtmpdumphelper, and vice versa. I tried Chrome and Firefox. The rtmpdumphelper GUI says that it successfully launches the RTMP proxy server and successfully attaches to the web browser. Should it take a while?

Re: MLB.TV Livestreamer Support?

i open rtmpdumphelper first in serve mode, then play this link in firefox and it catches right away:

Code:

http://mlb.mlb.com/shared/flash/mediaplayer/v4.5/R7/MP4.jsp?calendar_event_id=14-414053-2015-05-06&content_id=103564583&media_id=&view_key=&media_type=video&source=MLB&sponsor=MLB&clickOrigin=Media+Grid&affiliateId=Media+Grid&team=mlb
do you have most recent version:

Code:

https://github.com/K-S-V/Scripts/releases/download/v2.4/rtmpdump-2.4.zip

Zebra 05-10-2015 02:57 PM

Re: MLB.TV Livestreamer Support?

Huh. I did have 2.4 before. I just tried it again and got a Failed to start RTMP server error, but then extracted rtmpdump-2.4.zip again, copied over the files in rtmpdumphelper121, relaunched, and got the same output as before (Streaming on rtmp://0.0.0.0:1935).

The RTMPdump binaries are all in the rtmpdumphelper121 folder, which is in Program Files (x86). That patch.diff file isn't used for anything since these are already compiled, right?

hmmm...not sure mate, im stumped

this is the command line i get:

maybe try clearing your firefox history, start rtmpdumphelper on "serve", then open firefox and play that link (also, not sure if makes difference, but I have adblocker on while doing this)

Which version of adblock? I've been using ublock, but it shouldn't make a difference.

yes, it does take a while, so make sure you wait till its actually playing in the browser, then it will work

Re: MLB.TV Livestreamer Support?

So, I'm still having the same issue with this. Could it be port-related? Is there any way the RTMP stream could be coming through a different port than 1935?
