I used KSV HDS downloader, I downloaded all the 445 fragments but it won't join, after finish downloading the last fragment, I got this error
Now I have a bunch of fragment files but it won't join due to Akamai DRM protection.

Is there any way I can join these encrypted fragment or is there another way to download hd videos from this site.

(btw, Please don't recommand screen capturing softwares):o

From what I have searched on google, adownloader is for androids not pc, is there any pc software?

Update: I think you were talking about atresdownloader, let me see if this work or not...

Update: Adownloader is not working, it always freeze when I enter a url and on bottom left corner, it says "getting manifest m3u8" but my url is not m3u8, it is ".mp4.csmil/manifest.f4m"

I have a local pc and a virtual pc (rdp), I have tried adownloader on both pc but whenever I paste a link, it shows "processing" and after that, it just freeze, any solution?
(I installed this version: a3toMP4v17.3F.exe)

Hi Denobis. Its not working.
It is not freezing for me and shows the download progress bar running from 0 to 100 but downloads nothing. It worked for the first video i tried, after that it is not working. Please help.

Try using a indian vpn when downloading, it wont freeze.

Me too face the same problem.

2 days back I successfully downloaded couple of videos from hotstar using Adownloader. But from yesterday its showing download progress running but the temp files created are deleted at the end, and no file is actually downloaded. Not sure if hotstar is preventing some how, but is there any fix for this ?

It worked for few videos.. download was successful. But now its not downloading. Can u try downloading now with same software and let me know if its working for hotstar videos

"Problem with the server" means your system is blocking the communication of the program with the modules. Check firewall and antivirus and give all the permissions needed

There is something that I would like to ask you about. on the website hotstar.com, Almost every video have a url and you can just copy paste the video link (exemple http://www.hotstar.com/#!/the-advent...e-1000003920-e) into adownload and it work but what about those video that don't have a direct url.

You can see, page url remain the same but video pop out, how to download these kind of videos with adownloader?

Im so glad i came across this thread.. cuz it helped me in getting the videos to work for hotstar (i used hola.org).. :D cuz im in the states

i downloaded adownloader a crazy amount of times, and this happens.. it just freezes.. and i don't know how to unfreeze it.. and i also don't know how to use a VPN from India

@Justcurious, use vpn from ibvpn.com, they ofter free 6 hour trial, install their software, enter your login info, select india and click connect, then try running adownloader, I'm sure it will work.

WOW.. thank you so much... it worked amazingly.. i was confused at first.. as the download takes quite a bit of time, im assuming that's because the file is big (i wanted the 1080).. but the quality is AMAZING..

though why doesn't it work if you don't have an indian VPN... now i need to sort that issue cuz 6 hours isn't enough.. but thanks again

I'm not trying to download the episodes, I'm trying to download the trailer/promos, some tv shows pages have a "preview" button where you can watch the trailer of the show (see the pics that I posted before), I want to download that trailers

Well, i've added proxy-support for hotstar but i cant confirm if it works. Try it (without vpn of course). Also, when you use vpn deactivate the proxy support.

Is it an added proxy in the proxy.txt file?

Edit: Tried without VPN, no luck :(
It froze again. Can't you crack their geoblock using some DNS tool rather than an IP fix?

dont do anything, the proxy support is internal when you select proxies online and use no vpn. Try it and report
