SouthParkStudios - How do I capture video?

Hey there, I didn't want to bump an old thread if it was unlocked as I was afraid I wouldn't receive an answer, but does anybody know how to get flawless HD video from the site? I mainly want to get seasons 3 and 4 on there as they recently re-rendered the show in HD and made them uncensored. I would normally just rip these on iTunes, but they only go season 5 and above. I tried using RTMP dump and I manage to get the video files, but it says something about a handshake error and the files are only 0 KB. Useless. Am I in the wrong place to ask for some help? Thanks!

you can join the segments with ffmpeg concatenate function.

You have, NO idea how much you've truly helped me man. I think I'll just go and download the entire series. I'm not worried that there is no opening segment to be honest. Yeah the intro is awesome, but it's not like it contains anything really necessary for each episode. THanks again so much.

Update: Alright, I tried doing 302 using the same code, but the box instantly closes for some reason. I can't figure this out. :/

I hate to bug you guys, but I'm having no luck with getting episode two of season 3 downloaded. What program would I use and how would I use it to receive the proper links for RTMPdump? I don't want to annoy you guys any further than I have, but I'm still a newbie. :P

Alright, guess who's back? I got the entire third season downloaded and I went on to get the fourth season done. Wrote an entire code out. Ran right back to square one with nothing downloading except the output files. Here's the code of just one episode:

But I cannot find the proper IDs or any of the RTMPE streams. I know I did something wrong. I got as far as exploring an XML file apparently, but it's not giving me any answers.

Edit: NVM, explored some more in the XML and it appears it's giving me more answers in another URI link I found. I figured out that I needed to use "mediagen" instead of "mrss" in the link. I'll keep updated in case I'm in trouble.

I have no desire to derail this thread but I’m currently struggling in my own attempts to use RTMPdump on South Park Studios, with one episode in particular: Coon vs. Coon & Friends

This episode appears unusual in that it is technically split into 4 Acts, despite only labelling 3 – The first Act or “Act0” is a 5 second opening promo unique to this episode, leading into the actual episode.

Having tried a few other methods, I’m only ever able to download the 5 second promo and not the episode itself

Could someone please have a look and possibly post the proper RTMPdump links?

Are the ‘banned’ episodes: Super Best Friends (Season 5, Episode 4), 200 (Season 14, Episode 5) and 201 (Season 14, Episode 6) once again inaccessible via ‘South Park Studios’?

I had read a story relevantly recently, suggesting that the banned episodes had been accessible via the RTMPdump method but that seems to no longer be the case, is it possible the links have merely been changed or have the episodes actually been removed entirely?

If possible, could someone please clarify or post the relevant links?

Has anyone had any luck using RTMPdump to download ,the currently airing 'Season 18' ?

- obviously http://southparkstudios.com/ now redirects to http://southpark.cc.com/ - with Hulu now infesting the inner workings of the site.

From some reason - http://www.southpark.nl - has yet to be effected by the transition to Hulu - but the episode release schedule is much slower, likely due to delayed broadcasting.

If possible could you please post links

There aren't higher bitrates. Depending on the episodes age/quality, you will have one of the following size/bitrates available:

480x360_400
640x480_600
768x432_750
640x480_800
960x540_1000
1280x720_1200
