Can't capture flash video stream from fujitv.co.jp: Flv Recorder's error~!?

 

When trying to use FLV Recorder to capture the video from the following site:
"http://wwwz.fujitv.co.jp/miyori/index.html --->> Trailers --->>Trailer 1 & 2", an error message shows up and the recorder will just shut down itself. It seems that it can capture the video, but I just don't know why there are some errors with it.

Then I tried to use Replay Media Catcher, it just didn't have any response at all after I clicked the "Start Recording" button and play the trailers.

I wonder somebody knows what the problem is and help me to capture the videos?

For whatever reason I can't play it. I get some messages, but I dunno japanese and can't get it.

When using Replay Media Catcher you should start it first, start recording with it and only then open your web-browser and navigate to a web-page with embedded flash player and play the flash video.

You may also try to find the stream URL with freeware URL Snooper. It seems to be an RTMP flash video so you should add "flv;rtmp" to the "Also search for" editbox. After finding RTMP URL you may try freeware Orbit Downloader to downoad from it.

i couldnt play the trailers as well, might be a site problem?

It takes some time before the trailers start playing. URL Snooper and Replay Media Catcher
didn't "catch" anything. However, I got the url of the videos with the Grab++ tool (a sniffer) in Orbit Downloader but couldn't download them for some reason.

I find 2 URLs for each trailer with filesizes between 250K and 1Mb.
For example:
http://fms.tc.fujitv.co.jp/idle/mQem.../7&OBT_fname=7

Their SWF flash player has the following references:
rtmp://fms.tc.fujitv.co.jp/fujimic/
rtmpt://fms.tc.fujitv.co.jp/fujimic/

So it must be an RTMP stream. Flash .FLV RTMP streaming videos can be recorded with Replay Media Catcher, FLV Recorder.

You may also try to find rtmp:// URLs with URL Snooper, but you should add "flv;rtmp" to the "Also search for" edit box.

I also found the same URL with URL Snooper; however, when I put the URL into Orbit Downloader, it just won't start download, as shown in the picture.

Of course I tried Replay Media Catcher and FLV Recorder again and again and it just didn't work at all. It seems there is no way to capture the videos.

the problem i was having in firefox was it didnt like my user agent, so i changed it to winxp... and it worked

also i cant get the urls to play in flv player 1.3.3 so it looks like a bug in Replay Media Catcher and FLV Player . i did not try FLV Recoder.

i put rtmp;stream;flv;fuji
in my 'also search for' box

urlsnooper isnt the best at finding whole rtmp url, you have to piece it together

Great job, compn. My guess would be that the reason why it takes a while before the trailers start playing in my browser is because the connection can't be established through the rtmp protocol so the rtmpt protocol is used. That would also explain why I get http URLs. Now, do Replay Media Catcher, FLV Recorder and Orbit Downloader support this rtmpt protocol?

the trailers start right away for me using safari or firefox (when i change the user agent)

RTMP (default port 1935)
RTMPT (tunnel via http - default port of 80)
RTMPS (tunnel via https - default port of 443)
