That only lets me watch them in VLC. I dont see how I can download them ?

The main purpose of Livestreamer is to allow the user to avoid buggy and CPU heavy flash plugins but still be able to enjoy various streamed content

That is not downloading them ?

with this code livestreamer download it and the name is cornell-confidential.ts

Thank you, I was able to download the file using livestreamer. However, I cannot play this file in VLC, mplayer classic or media player. The extension is .ts and media info program shows valid audio and video streams. Any ideas?

Awesome, thank you biezom! Now only if I can play the TS/FLV downloaded with livestreamer from HBOGo. I will create a new thread for it soon..
