Re: How to connect DVR via internet to watch CCTV cameras from a remote placeHi. I am also trying to set up dvr to watch on my iPhone. I have managed to set up through my wifi but am unable to view it away from home. I have followed the sticky post at the start of this post but still no success. I use sky broadband and am using eagle eyes to view cameras. I have a dyndns domain name matched it up between iPhone and sky router but still no joy. What ever i try whether its putting the ip address straight in to router or eagle eyes it just says "cannot connect to this ip address". Is there anyone that could help or give me some advice please. Thanks in advance.

Re: How to connect DVR via internet to watch CCTV cameras from a remote placeThanks den a but still not working with the programme you said. I think it has something to do with my router not letting me access my dvr, but don't know how to solve the issue.

Or Check your dvr manual to see Which type of DVR you use ? |
Re: How to connect DVR via internet to watch CCTV cameras from a remote placeHi denva I can't not change the IP address on dvr or port I can only change subnet mask, the rest is set automatically.
To recap I have set up dyndns, put that address into my router to allow acces then gone to dvr app on phone and set the address to my dyndns address. Is this all right or am I goin wrong some where? |
