I would check the brands website and see if they have video codecs available for download. If you are getting a blank screen then you may need to port forward a range instead of a single port samsung requires a range of 4 ports in sequential order. Ex. 5554-5557. Some routers allow you to open a range. Some routers you have to open each port individually.

You're going to need to download the specific video codec that your dvr system uses. It obviously isnt a port forward issue because it wouldnt allow you to login if that was the case. Lower your content restrictions and turn off any running antivirus when you open your camera page. The download opens like a popup link at the top of the page its usually an active X controller but like i said before different systems have their own codecs that are unknown by windows certifications which is why the pop up to download gets blocked.
