Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...I also recently posted about this - that previously hulu rips of higher bitrates than 2000k were available - so how do we go about downloading these if getflv cannot do it anymore:(

Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...In case it seemed I was being too critical of the program in my previous post, I will say that GetFLV is excellent at downloading SD shows that are less than an hour. But it seems that recently it has lost some of the things it was able to do in the past such as pause a download and continue it, which was a way to get around longer shows and movies. It seems that the downloader freezes once it has downloaded a certain amount of parts, which causes it to stop not just the download of that file, but any others that may be downloading as well. I did a test where I downloaded a 90 minute TV movie and then, when it was around 50% done with that, started to download a 25 minute show. BOTH stopped downloading once the longer show got to around the 72% mark. And again, it never seems to stop at the exact same percentage on the same show, which makes me believe it's an issue with the program. If this could be fixed or at least restored to being able to pause and resume like it could do in the past, that would be great.

GetFLV - FLV Converter/Remux not workingWell getting this little misleading error message on this:
"At least one output file must be specified" However running DebugView asside, I saw GetFlv slamming this silence Exception: ...[FFmpegException] Unknown encoder "original"... And indeed that's more to point.:D since anything else than selecting 'remux' (that'll cause the decoder name set to 'original') will work. Couldn't resist to go in there a little deeper with ollydbg Well changing the CodecName from original -> copy like this: c:\Program Files (x86)\GetFLV\config\profile\10001340.xml <Profile DefID="10001340" DefName="AVI Video Remux(*.avi)" DeviceName="none" Enabled="1" DefType="0" Comment="Directly remux to AVI format"> <Parameter FileExt=".avi" Format="avi" ExporterName="FFExporter" AVInclude="0" AVNeed="0" AVStyle="1"> <AudioParam AudioCodecName="original" AudioBitrate="0" Samplerate="0" Channel="0" /> <VideoParam VideoCodecName="original" Width="0" Height="0" FrameRate="0.000000" VideoBitrate="0" Tolerance="0" /> <ParameterEx remux="1" /> </Parameter> <ColItem> <AudioCodecName DefID="0" DefValue="copy" /> ... <VideoCodecName DefID="0" DefValue="copy" /> helps 'a little'. Now I get this error: "-vcodec copy and VideoHook are incompatible (frames are not decoded)" |

I tried this morning, and all day long, no links anymore I've also tried an older version, but keeps freezing when I see a link? Maybe Hulu changed settings again, or is it another update? I'm so sick of this bull everytime :'( |
