I was able to download and watch the 3200K hulu streams using UVD on a first gen ipad IOS 5.1.1 but when I moved the files over to my windows pc I had to use this command line prompt ffmpeg -i 3200.m3u8 -c copy test.ts doing this will give you the full tv show in one file but it will have the advertising and the audio is out of sync as well. Higher streams have to be captured with a lossless video capture card via hdmi over a PS3 etc. There is no decrypting past standard definition because there is no key for decryption.

I have an Avermedia Game Capture HD II, but I don't know how to capture from Netflix, because the episodes always start with low quality and a few seconds later they get to 1080p. Also, the Netflix app on PS3 always pops up a "Next Episode" screen when the ending credits are about to start.

yes you may being editing 3200.m3u8 removing blocks having advertising ts pieces. you yes should being seeing

EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY

when the blocking starting ending

then yes saving 3200.m3u8 and using ffmpeg. output should not having ad and sync being good.

I don't think it's the crypt0.key. When it says invalid data found when processing input I think it means this.

It could be argued that FFmpeg should search harder for the begin
of a usable stream but there will always be a file that has more
trash at the begin and for some inputs, it is very undesirable
to initially read a lot of data.

This could be the answer to my problem but, I don't understand any of what it means. Would someone please help by clarifying these instuctions for me?

1. Rip file from Netflix 4.0 with UVD 1.1.1 on iPad IOS 5.1.1
2. Send all ripped files over to UVD folder on Windows 7 Pro 64bit PC
3. Follow all commands for UVDConvert.php
4. Watch it fail on video stream.

I am able to get this working but, it only works some of the time. For example. If it plays back in UVD on the iPad then it can be decrypted but, if the download fails to play in UVD then it will not decrypt. For some reason I have to download the same file repeatedly until I am served a usable video file. I'm inclined to believe it's possibly on a timer because when I attempt the first rip of the day it's always a success but, if I download another right away then it fails. Then after a few more attempts I will get a usable file again. Very strange.

Wow, HD Rips were awesome while that lasted.. Anyways In order to get the correct key all the time you must download the video from Netflix version 2.0 or below. Not sure why but that's what I would do.

I think you have other issues then, i can launch the 2.2 ipa from this thread fine and have no issues with decryption.

Is it possible that 2.2 won't launch because my iPad is first gen on IOS 5.1.1? It is jailbroken and I have appsync unified. It installs fine. It just won't launch.

I'm having a problem that I hope someone can help me with. While using Netflix IPA 2.2.1 I am unable to select an alternative audio track in Universal Video Downloader 1.1.3 but, if I use Netflix IPA 4.0 I am given the option to select an alternative audio track. The problem is that 2.2.1 downloads reliably while 4.0 takes many downloads to get a successful download that can be processed. I also tried Universal Video Downloader 1.1.1 and it has the exact same problem. I am on a jailbroken iPad mini 2 with IOS 8.4 If anyone can give me help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

OK. I got the audio issue figured out but, now I have the problem of every file downloaded by Universal Video Downloader is present except for the audio file and the m3u8 file for the audio but, strangely it plays back fine in Universal Video Downloader but, I can't figure out where it's storing the audio file and it's m3u8. This makes no sense.
