Re: RTMPexplorer - rtmpsrv/rtmpsuck/rtmpdump GUI for Windows

Thank you, riddler!! but:
Code:

C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe C:\get_flash_videos-1.24
http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=307061
Downloading http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=307061
Using method 'itv' for http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=307061
Error: Unable to find <Video> in XML at C:\get_flash_videos-1.24 line 2743.

Couldn't extract Flash movie URL. This site may need specific support adding,
or fixing.

Please confirm the site is using Flash video and if you have Flash available
check that the URL really works(!).

Check for updates by running: C:\get_flash_videos-1.24 --update

If the latest version does not support this please open a bug (or
contribute a patch!) at http://code.google.com/p/get-flash-videos/
make sure you include the output with --debug enabled.
Couldn't download any videos.

Any idea?

if you are outside of UK then you need to use vpn to download it. if you have installed ActivePerl properly then you can launch the script from anywhere. your get-flash-videos version is very old and also rtmpdumup must be in same folder.

Re: RTMPexplorer - rtmpsrv/rtmpsuck/rtmpdump GUI for Windows

I have the same problem myself. Don't know whether the problem is on our side as we're behind proxies, or that get_flash_video's code is outdated.

Need help with iPlayer this time. get_iplayer works perfectly but I want to get trailers and clips from the shows' site that are not in the TV listings. I use rtmpexplorer for this. I can get the URL in Command.bat, but when I run the rtmpdump script in Command.bat (making sure that it's only the last line), I get this:

Connecting ...
ERROR: RTMP_Connect0, failed to connect socket. 10060 (Unknown error)

Code:

You should not use the vpn for download
but only to obtain parameters for rtmpdump.
