On V5 it is Settings, RTMP. Make sure the top box in the Download/Recording section is ticked, and then in the box below type in cam4.com ( cam4.co.uk if you are in the UK or whatever the domain is in the country you are in) and then click Add.
You can record more than one cam at a time, but make sure the cams remain open and RMC is constantly monitoring, otherwise the recording will stop.

Yes. And recording works on cam4 with RMC, so it should work with rtmpdump.
So, either we need a patch for rtmpdump, or some javascript to extract some parameters we're missing.

sorry, but you have a premium account on cam4?I do not have it ,I can watch only one webcam at a time, if I remove a cam recording interrupts (As already you said), so how do you do? premium account?

You can open different browsers, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera etc, and have a cam open in each one.

You can also try open new tabs in Chrome or Firefox in Incognito or Private mode and on each open new cam4 page. This work for my in bonga. Im unable to see as guest any cam4 show and must login so dont know if this works

Sorry but on my PC it doesnt work.
Stream will be found and Download starts but no data will be downloaded only some Bytes.

It works :)
If you had the full version of Jaksta before, your licence key will still work so no need to buy it again.
It looks just like RMC6 so I guess that will be updated too soon.

Does this work unattended? I mean can it auto cap a particular cam without me having to manually tell it to start?

I am not quite sure what you mean. It works just as Jaksta & RMC have always worked before. Providing it is monitoring, it will cap any cam when you open it, or have them on re-load and they start broadcasting.
If you are talking about setting up a schedule, then I have never used that so can't help you there.

Ah, I wasn't sure how it worked. I meant something like setting it to record a particular cam whenever it went active rather than having to open it up in a browser and then tell it to cap that particular stream.

If you bought a version of Jaksta before, then the license code they emailed you then will work, otherwise I am afraid you will have to pay for it.

Im so happy i found this thread, i have been using IDM for years and i was downloading cam4 shows without any problems, private shows and all without having to leave the web page open.

My question is do RMC, Jaksta or RTMP dump record private shows on cam4? or just the show in public?

I doubt there will be any software or app updates that will be able to get pvt streams for free anymore due to copyright issues.

Speaking about RTMP experts that are interested into adult streams, I think that no one of them will not publish anything that works anymore and the reason is obvious. Published exploits are fixed very fast.

Therefore, if you don't have few RTMP experts as your trusted friends your only hope is to start learning RTMP by yourself...

can I recored more than one streams with Jaksta ? Just DL Jaksta and it works with one stream as long the window is open, but how do I recored other streams at the same time ??

on cam4 you can record more than one stream and you can close the window.
On CB the window must stay open, you can also record more streams but only as many as cams you can look at the same time

thanks, seems I do something wrong, as I can only record one stream and it has to be permanently open on cam4, any settings I have to change in Jaksta to record more than one stream at the same time ???

Sorry, but there won't be any updates for cam4cmdline. Cam4cmdline uses librtmp.dll to download the models. Cam4 has added a custom command that librtmp.dll doesn't understand. I'm not a C-programmer, so I'm not able to modify it, to add the custom command. I do have my own rtmp code for MFC, but it's too much work to modify it for Cam4.

It would appear that using JMC 6.0.0.90 in DVR mode on Cam4 that adverts are now inserted in the stream after 2-3 seconds rendering the recording useless. :mad:

Can smone explain how to do this using RMC because what I tried was a complete loss of time :D I cannot record more than one stream by closing the window. ( I am in a recording mode )

I downloaded JMR6-6.0.0.89, but after a minute download stops because it is the trial version, you have purchased a license or there is a way around the problem?

Hi,

nice tool Elgero.So I see you do send the necessary receiveRTMPResponse command at send API.
Unfortunately you do code in NET and nobody seems to be able (or want) to add new parameters into RTMPDump source to send such custom commands and to compile a new working version.

PS: Would be nice if you could also add a player output command as | to pipe the stream into a player.If you do then I would build a nice GUI which I could post on this topic if anyone wants a GUI. :)
