You need to pull it from the iOS app.

After ripping the video with Universal Video Downloader, move the folder to somewhere, then follow KSV's steps.

Please help me solve two problems.
1. I am only able to find version 1.1.1 of Universal Video Downloader.
2. When I download a NetFlix movie there is no key_file or ts.prdy_file.

What am I doing wrong here?

The .ts.prdy and key only download in older Netflix app versions, is it will only download in standard quality since Netflix found out about this method.

Hi , i was able to download from netflix ; i get an isma and ismv files , there are many ismv each one for one quality (360p , 480p ,etc) and one isma
The audio plays fine ,but i cant play the video in PC

I want to download only the audio from a film on Netflix and read here that the audio isn't encrypted. Is this still the case? What exactly do I need to download the audio? I don't have an iPhone or iPad.

Hey guys, now you can find Netflix shows decrypted on the internet.. Example NTB group released all x-files season 01, it includes 5.1 sound and subtitles.. So they found a way to do it.., hope the info will be public soon

I saw that. But the file sizes are huge.
Ripping the subtitles is easy. The problem is ripping the HD video.
I hope somebody shares a method. I don't think the NTb files are recorded because they have the complete ending credits, which would be cut off by the "next episode" screen, so I strongly believe there is a method to download and decrypt those files.

NTB isn't "downloaded" but probably captured through HDMI output.

Then how can they capture without the "next episode" screen in the ending credits? I have a PS3, a Xbox 360 and an Avermedia Game Capture II but there's the fact that when the video starts it isn't 1080p yet and the "next episode" screen which pops up every time the ending credits appear.

Regarding the X-files, season 1 was captured from Netflix in 1080p via recording in real-time, they're not a direct-stream capture. Seasons 2-9 are in 720p and from Hulu, Netflix doesn't even actually have the full series in HD.

Need some help here. Netflix 2.2 and UVD 1.1.1 on jailbroken ipad 2. output files are (- -_3 1750000-1 crypt0 en-64000 index metadata.plist) within these seven files there is no ts.prdy_file key_file. Also tired with netflix 4.0 and uvd 1.1.3

Hooray! My dumbass finally figured out how to rip and convert theses videos. I can live with SD since it gives me the ability to watch NetFlix stuff without being around a WiFi spot or a wired connection.

I pasted this before in another thread that's lost.

This method is interesting, but basically a certificate is pushed to the device (normally a base64 encoded cert) and the device accepts and uses this cert to contact a keyserver and download the decryption key and stores it locally on the device.

I'm sure you see a URI=skd:// or something similar in your playlist.

I'm still not able to figure out where the key is stored, or how it's obtained.

Has anyone tried this method to get Hulu+ HD files on iOS?
I managed to download 720p episodes from Hulu+ with UVD and play them too. UVD downloads the key, but I couldn't decode the files.

It is playable on UVD.

Never tried UVD for HuLu but, GetFLV is working on HuLu Plus right now. I've snatched 1500K streams but, so far no luck with 3200K streams from http://download.hulu.com/huludesktop.swf

I know the 3200K streams can be had with GetFLV but, they won't download for me.

Naw. 3200K is still 720p it's just higher bit rate. When I try to snatch the 3200K files it gives a message "unable to download normally" "would you like to record in rtmp mode?" There is a guy who is ripping the 3200K streams with GetFLV I think he's using a slightly older version than I am but, I compared a rip I did with the exact same episode he ripped and I couldn't really tell enough difference to make me go out of my way to use the http://download.hulu.com/huludesktop.swf version of HuLu. It's a much bigger pain in the ass to deal with and spams you with trailers and shit.

Would AdobeHDS.php work on something like this? What method did you use to try and decrypt? I know somebody is going to figure this out and make things a lot more stable for getting hulu videos.

the 3200k streams vs 1500k are totally worth double the bitrate. What you compare may have been animation or something without the same HD detail as something live action.

I would snatch the 3200K files if I could but, every download fails @ http://download.hulu.com/huludesktop.swf so, what can a guy do? The streams from normal HuLu Plus download easily. What choice do I have but, to settle?

You can download the 3200k stream with uvd, I did it and worked but I can't watch them on uvd how you did it reydson? uvdconvert.php need to be modified to decrypt those files.

I'm somewhat confused. If HuLu Plus videos download for me easily in 1500K from their normal webpage while logged in then why would I be refused a download from http://download.hulu.com/huludesktop.swf? It makes no sense. I'm logged in. I get the correct URL but, when a download is initiated it tells me it's unable to download it normally and asks me if I want to download via rtmp mode which is a fail as well as undesired. It really makes no sense. I know people are doing it so, it must work. I even updated to the latest build of GetFLV as well as the latest flash. From someone who claimed to do it are you doing anything special that I should be aware of because this should be pretty straight forward?
