When using the desktop Hulu version did you set the quality to "HD" or did you leave it on "Auto"? I tried using the desktop version with that Mr. Bean link but I can only get 1500K and no 3100K at all :( . Thanks.

Edit: Guess I should add I'm using the latest version of GetFLV and my Adobe Flash is updated :p

I have it set to auto and every quality of the stream will appear from highest to lowest.

Thanks for the reply. Which version are you running? Don't know what the problem could be on my end. I have mines set to "Auto" now and when I go to play the Mr. Bean link the only stream that pops up is "1000K" .. I remember when like 3 streams would pop up at once but now it doesn't. Only 1 pops up now and its usually the 1000K profile :(

Any1 know what I can do or which version to install that shows all of the different qualities to choose from?

9.8.126.18 is the version I use. Just tested and 3100K was available on the Mr. Bean episode 1 stream.

What would be nice, is implementing something in the code so you dont have to use the desktop version. Its been discontinued for a long time. Im starting to believe its not possible to get the higher streams with stock hlu...

Yeah, I wish it was possible to get higher qualities with the Web Hulu.com instead of the desktop version. The desktop version comes up with an error after about 10 or so mins.

I'm sure there IS some way to get higher streams with the stock Hulu web because you can get them on tablets so I know it has to be possible on a PC.

The higher bitrate streams were implemented for larger televisions for people who use Roku boxes and PS4 etc. Standard web browser will probably be stuck at 1500K because they feel that's adequate for viewing from a foot or two away on a screen that is most likely not going to be much bigger than 24 inches. Plus they are probably cheap and and they don't have to fork over more data to each user.

Has anyone else noticed that this thread has been going on for years, but not one issue has been resolved? Seems like getflv support keeps skirting around the issues and still, problems persist. They take our money easily enough, but getting straight answers and resolutions to the problems we encounter takes a backseat to their profit-margin.

I've read every message in this thread and the problems drag on and drag on and drag on. Is getflv waiting for someone else to figure out a fix for downloads stopping and hanging at 99%? I'd like an answer, I'd like to know why it actually registers at 100% then drops down to 99% and sits there...have I wasted my money? Should I demand a refund? Should we all demand refunds?

I'd like to know why files download in a tmp file is ts form, but do not convert to mp4...it seems to download fine, but then craps out, why? Can I get a straight reply on a fix? Thank you.

Makes sense but as I said before .. you can get the 3200K 720p/6000K 1080p streams from a iPad/tablet and we all know (most) of those are smaller than someone's laptop/PC screen .. so there has to be a way to pull them from the web stock Hulu :D
