The scripts for B&N are called ignoblekey.py, ignobleepub.py and similar. If you download a file called tools_v1.9.zip it contains these and most other DRM tools. You can find the link on Apprentice Alf's Blog.

ignoblekey.py and ignobleepub.py are used to remove DRM from EPUB ebooks from B&N.

For PDF files I would try ineptkey, ineptpdf

yup. i feel like some hybrid between the two would probably work but i'm no where near skilled enough to do it.

either way. the pdf decryption method in this thread doesn't work for the pdf files from nookstudy:

If I'm not mistaken, I used Advanced PDF Password Recovery from Elcomsoft for unlocking such PDF documents and remove editing, printing and copying restrictions from them, but it was long ago. The program allows to open encrypted and password-protected PDF documents.
Actually ineptpdf supports Adobe Policy Server (APS) but only if you put the PrincipalKey (get it by sniffing the connection) for the publisher in the script

You guys are fantastic! thanks to everyone who made this possible. This has helped me out a lot!

I've been trying to DRM-free this file for a couple days now and was almost going to print-screen every page to get it done! but now I have a legit copy, thanks again.

Btw, to anyone who needs the links to the ineptkey and ineptpdf scripts, I have attached links to the newest files I could find (some of the ones in this thread no longer work).
