Anyone know of a good Streaming Flash Audio player? I just tried VLC and it didnt accept the stream.

Any suggestions would be great.

I'm sure these streams will be handled by the big guys (WMP and Quicktime) in the future.

Try FLV Player.

WMP can play .FLV files if you install codecs. I use K-Lite Mega codec Pack. Although I haven't tried to play streaming files. It might play .FLV files streamed through the HTTP protocol.

Do you have an ETA when this version will be release? Will it be an update for Replay A/V 8 only?

It will be an update of Replay A/V 8. The beta version is ready so it will be released very soon.

http://player.streamtheworld.com/?callsign=CHWO

This is the same type of stream like the CBS ones. I'm trying to figure out the URL for the stream but Replay A/V 7 isn't picking it up. Could anyone figure out? By the way, which program could I use to find out this info?

Thanks!

Usually I use free URL Snooper to find hidden stream URLs
Code:

http://sydor25.com/Music/KROQ.mp3
http://sydor25.com/Music/KROQ2.mp3

I also use Replay Media Catcher and FLV Recorder to find stream URLs from an embedded flash player.

I've tried using URL Snooper and it doesn't seem to be working with this particular URL.

Yes, EladCanada, you're right. URL Snooper doesn't work for me on this web-site as well.

But Replay A/V got the following URL:
Code:

http://64.34.149.241:80/CHWO?streamtheworld_user=1&NOBUF=1177528876324
Also Proxomitron shouldn't have any problems here.

Yeah, that URL seems to work. But do you have any idea why my Replay A/V wasn't able to pick it up? I have version 7.

Try to get stream URL with free Replay A/V 8 trial. It should work for you. If it does then it is due to the bug fix or new feature.
