radiosure.com

for the free audials just google: "audials lite download"

the paid version of audials lets you record Pandora, Youtube, or any music streaming service.

There is a wide variety of audio recorders, but I use daily a software called 1AVCapture because it allows me to work and record songs at the same time because it has automatic naming of files so even when I am working I only lose a couple of seconds to stop and start another recording. It is real handy and it is absolutelly unlocked to record audio even on the trial mode.

I liked Cok Free MP3 Recorder. It is the only software which can record sound from sound card in windows 7. You only need to set it "record output sound (from computer)" in setting window.

Re: The best streaming music recorder

Hi, I have been off the forum for a while. Mostly because I changed ISPs and didn't get any emails, and had a hard time keeping up with all the sites I used to visit.

OK, to update my info, it hasn't changed. My favorite recording software is still, Magix Webradio Recorder 2 for recording programs, and Streambox VCR for downloading archived material. Though I don't use SVCR much anymore, it's still my favorite for what it can do.

Now...back to the important stuff.

My CD for Magix Webradio Recorder 2 is damaged. I have almost all the setup files copied to my backup drive, and can reinstall the program, and it will activate if I put the CD in the CD Drive while installing. However, I have to twist and turn a bit to get it to work because of what is damaged.

So, if anyone has or knows where I can get a new Magix Webradio Recorder 2 CD please let me know.

I know I can get ver 4, and I have it, but I prefer Ver 2 for my older systems. I know you can download copies, but the ones that are full versions require an activation, and Magix no longer supports it. Others are updates, which I have.

Oh, and Amazon doesn't have it. I've Googled, but no luck, not on Ebay either.

I really do like this software, mostly because I'm used to it, complications and all.

Thanks,
Bob

I recommend Apowersoft Streaming Audio Recorder. It is a multi-functional program you can use to record and edit audio. You can search and download the music you like via this program.

Couple updates to Magix Webradio Recorder.

I bought ver 4 because I was having so much trouble with my CD for ver 2.

Well, Ver 4 is pretty much like V2 for my purposes, only it will run on Win Vista and 7. I don't know yet about later versions of Windows.

I also downloaded a trial version of Magix MP3 Maker. I found it has Webradio Recorder built into it. I will look into that further, including looking at older versions. and post more.

Also, the station update function is still working on ver 2, even though it's so old. Many stations are no longer available, at the addresses on the list, and only those users add go in, AFAIK, but you can manually update it if you find a station you want to add.

Ver 2 is still my favorite, as long as I am using XP.

Can you set it for recording time? Can you set it for regular recording of specific programs?
