What system are you running now? We have tested it on xp, vista and win7 (32bit). We can download HD streams of your URL.

Can you download hulu videos with GetFLV?

Ok I managed to get GetFLV? to download the video. (it was a problem in the settings of IE)
But it wont download in High Definition. It only downloads at the definition that is automaticlly set by CBS when it detects my connection speed. How do I make it download the HD stream when my connection speed isnt fast enough to display it?
I am running Vista.. 32bit
Core 2 duo 2.4ghz... 4 gig ram..

Sorry for your problem. It's a bug of version 8.9.6.5. Please download and reinstall latest version 8.9.6.6 from our website and give us your feedback.

Hi thanks a lot for helping me out getflv
Ok when i open the cbs link in GetFLV it starts playing and 2 downloadable links become available in the bottom box.
I click to download both of them and they appear in the flv downloader section. but there is a red cross next to the name and they wont download. i click start and a prompt pops up about resuming downloads. iif i click no, nothing happens just stays on the same screen with red cross still there. if i click yes it just opens up the cbs webpage again and im back to square one.

I have circled the video quality automatically chosen for me by cbs.. i can't get it to stream in HD because of my connection:

OK file downloads fine now.
But not in HD which is what i was talking about.
It only downloads in the quality that is being streamed to me when I download.

I'm having some prob... app detects commercials, but not episodes. I have tried Hulu, cbs.com and tv.com and it does the same on all of them. I am very interested in tv.com most of all because they have some old stuff like Soap, etc that I would love to have.

I am using this behind a proxy (Hide IP Easy 5.0.4.2) because I am outside the US and cannot access the streams otherwise.

US proxy is not the only alternative:
How to access BBC iPlayer, Hulu, Fancast, Pandora, any other region-restricted sites

For example, I used a free VPN to find RTMP links from cbs.com. Then I was able to download them without the VPN.

dont worry its been too late now. no way to get it.

GetFLV not working for webcams.com and cams.com

 

In addition to the good old Replay Media Catcher with rtmp 5.2.6.9 and StreamTransport, I thought I would try out GetFLV......one thing annoy me the most is why is this thing always open in full screen mode:( and also it failed with both webcams.com and cams.com just like most other commercial streams recorders....!

I'm gonna try out this GetFLV for another few days thinking come to the worst, I will just have to call up my CC to do a charge back, lol.

RTMPDump and URL Snooper are excellent, but somehow URLSnooper is not getting any rtmp/e for me in Windows 7X64, maybe I will start to learn Linux, as I know for sure getting rtmp/e is way easier in Linux.

Any hardcore cam addicts:D may PM me and maybe we can share our proven arsenals:p

Sorry for my late reply. Is it possible to get the HD rtmp link from cbs without playing the video in HD and then using something like GetFLV, Replay Media Catcher to download.

I still cannot get the CBS player to stop playing in normal resolution. I tried Hotspot Shield and don't like it. I don't really trust it. Everytime I use it, my computer works badly. I would pay for a VPN but only if I knew I could get the content in 1080i.

When I tried to download RTMP URLs from

Replay Media Catcher 4.1.1 started downloading 2 streams:
As you can see, the only difference in the URLs in the number related to the video resolution. So get the 480p rtmp:// URL, replace it with 720p, then go to "Tools" > "Download..." and paste the new URL.

Commercial VPNs usually have trials, so try before paying.

Sorry for my late reply, thanks for your response. I will look into it further. One of the VPNs recommended didn't offer a free trial. Considering how much their service costs (even the basic one) I will never use them.

To download videos from flirt4free, I use GetFLV without serial.
Version 9.0.0.0

But GetFLV download half video. The videos are not full, because I not find serial.
I downloaded an earlier version of GetFLV, but it doesn't work in my pc.

Now, there is a complete system for downloading video from flirt4free? Please help me

You have several choices:

1. Buy GetFLV
2. Use freeware RTMPE recorders
3. Use screen video capture software

All posts about cracks, serials, warez will be deleted.

We have 4(four) GetFLV-specific threads (a review thread where users can leave their general opinion, an updates thread where GetFLV support team notifies us about the latest updates, this semi-official general trouble-shooting thread where GFLV support team tries to help regarding general current issues inherent to their product, and finally a Hulu thread .. because Hulu is one of the most popular and best protected video streaming websites on the internet and often GetFLV is the only (easy to use) tool to download their original streams because GFLV is updated very often!

That's four threads. That's enough. Therefore i've merged all threads with title words < GetFLV > to one of the four threads. If you, the forum user, have a problem with downloading a specific stream (for example cbs.com, or fox.com) with GetFLV, then do the troubleshooting in this thread. There's no need to open new threads with the title word < GetFLV > in it. I will continue to merge threads to this one, whenever i see .. :cool:

thru the merging of various "GetFLV-support threads", i must admit that the history of this accumulative throuble-shooting thread reads a little chaotic :p. On the other hand nobody needs to care... because it is all history. Currently there are no major problems with this product (anymore!) and whatever users were complaining about in the past is history. Because you have to install the very latest version anyway. And when you do that, your problems are all gone, automatically.

1-2 years ago, GFLV was an unstable program, which crashed often or didnt seem to work.
Nowadays, GFLV is a quite stable environment, including a robust implementation of the secured/protected streaming protocols (RTMP, RTMPE, etc.) .. so that troubleshooting GFLV has become much less of an issue than it used to be.

GetFLV v9.0.0.3 doesn't work . This box comes out. How did try this version?:confused:

GetFLV v8 was previously installed.
What should I do? Where clean your registry?

You can run regedit.exe and search your registry for keyword < getflv > and then backup&delete the registry entry/entries.. but this wont help your problem. I have tested it myself:



If you're on a clean(!) system and install the 9.0.0.3 version and want to trial/try it, it doesnt let you. Directly after installation it says "expired". And if you are a fully regged user (like i am), then the online checking of registration data (home phoning) doesnt seem to work flawlessly either.

I am assuming now that this strange program behaviour is a bug.

I keep getting this error message. GetFLV can not work with older flash player well. Please install latest flash player for Internet Explorer now!

1) I have GetFLV 9.0.0.6 installed & I have Firefox 3.6.16 also Internet Explorer 8.

2) I have the Flash Players for Firefox (Flash Player 10.3.181.5 RC 1) & Internet Explorer (Flash Player 10.3.181.5 RC 1).

3) I have tried installing this version http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ which is (10.2.159.1) but I keep an error saying that version is not the latest version so I installed the versions of Flash listed above & I still get the same error every time I load up GetFLV

4) With the Flash Players for Firefox (10.3.181.5 RC 1) & Internet Explorer (10.3.181.5 RC 1) Firefox plays videos just fine but Internet Explorer 8 does not

5) No site will work once so ever. Not Hulu not nothing. But I mainly download from Amazon Instant Video. Here is an Amazon Instant Video Link

i know this kind of problem from earlier times with GetFLV. former versions of GetFLV often came up with this message. Since my GetFLV is content with my 10.2.x Flash Version (IE8), i dont know why yours isnt content with the 10.3.x Flash Version (IE8) on your system.

try to deinstall all Flash stuff, all adobe stuff thru: System Control Panel -> Software (Deinstall/Uninstall) -> Adobe XYZ

rtmpt (and rtmpte) isnt supported yet. For such streams you can use Replay Media Catcher4 or HiDownload . i cant look into your 2 testpage url's. i am too busy with "AIV" ;)

Maybe also user getflv can have a word. it's their support thread :)

I'm having problems too.

Version 9.0.0.9 would seem to work, but then the download would get stuck at a different spot everytime I tried. It got stuck at 78%, then 80% the next time, and then the 3rd time it got up to 90.1% and got stuck. Tried another video and it got stuck around 45%.

I just updated to version 9.0.1.2 and I get the same message posted above about needing to update IE flash player. I updated flash to the lastest version and I still get the message every time I open GetFLV. So I ignored the message and tried to download, but now there is nothing showing up at all in the bottom box that lists the videos to download.:confused:

Everything was done on HuIu.
