You can easily download from the URLs I posted using any download manager.

If you wanna get/see network packets (not the parts you can download from the URLs), you can use packet sniffers.

i got the project URL snooper and the proxomitron

but im looking for something that would actually download all the actual packets that's coming in. although there's still the problem with decoding the packet unpacking it from it's encapsulated form. it's either that or the packets are in the media format but broken up.

btw does anyone know the 4code for wmv? cause i think i found the header for the media but not sure.

URL Snooper is good at finding stream URLs, Proxomitron - at getting headers of the request to a sever and replies from the server.

By packet sniffers I mean programs like CommView.

The packets might be encrypted or just contain some service information which is hard to separate without knowing the algorithms.

wow~ commview is a really nice program gonna play around with it and see what i can get. too bad it's a evaluation program it only gets half the packets.

There are lots of other packet sniffers. Many of them are free.

Hi, I just joined here and also had the same question about ripping videos from mnet.com as well. I have the URL Snooper2 and I think thats the only program so far that gave me a link but not a downloadable link, compare to the other ones I have. There is a way of ripping videos from there it's just, I think you'd need some Korean video ripping program or something, since I've come across fans who gets their videos from that site. I'm still trying to figure how they do it. I'm sure they won't tell how or what they use to rip videos from mnet either.

The reason none of the programs are not able to detect a downloaded link, is because none of the the programs here can read mnetv://. Which seems to be their very own. Unless someone out there can manage to find a way around to be able to get videos from there, which will be hella great. Hit me up a pm, when any of you find a way or a program that supports mnetv://

That's what I wanted to say.

In most cases you won't be able to record proprietary formats and protocols. But you can always use screen video capture software to record anything you can see on your screen.

I've tried to analyze URLs with freeware URL Snooper, but haven't found any useful info. I have no idea how to get not only the complete URL, but even the correct IP address of the server.

ATM I can only suggest to use screen video capture software.
