Yes, that's true and the old plug-ins don't work either and had that been stated previously or in the Applian link you refer to this discussion could have ended long ago.

In the article to refer to there are several areas that could have (and should have) been better communicated. I have already pointed out some previously in this thread, but here's another one.

It states (in so many words) that no changes will be made to v3.0.1 if it was installed prior to the of January 28. It overlooks the fact that, by default, this program is set up to automatically install all updates.

I am trying to get a video on cmt and when i tried Replay Media Catcher, it was downloading but gave me an error:

I tested GetFLV myself and it works GREAT, I was also able to record streams from this site using Screen Capture software, just fyi. Thanks for posting everybody!

I've tested GetFLV v.8.79 and although it seemed like it was able to detect stream URL, I wasn't able to download any CMT videos with it.
