Mlb and some other bam networks changed the default browser player from hls to rtmp. The hls can still be obtained by editing the request, or finding it from various streaming sites that restream mlb but usually only for live games not archived content.

Thanks for the reply Yelloworanges. I'm looking to pull the archived content from mlb.com/tv. I have a MLB account and have gotten help ripping the archived vids in the past. I seem to have lost my notes and sample files (xxxx.key etc) and am hoping that someone will help put me back on track again.

If any mods happen to see this. I have reported a couple/few of the previous posts as spam. Please feel free to delete those posts in order to clean up this thread a bit, thanks!

basically how to get the 'key' file. its been a year or so and my memory isnt serving me very well at the moment.
