I used it. Like I said, it won't download anything from Hulu+, only non-plus low-res stuff.

Maybe instead of rolling your eyes, read what I said, and read the title of the thread.

Ah, apologies. I thought your post was addressed at me, since it was directly after my post.

thanks
i downloaded Getflv 9.6.3 trial version
and tested hulu,
it downloaded a hulu video
but stopped. [30 MB or 50% of video in trial version]
----
another crazy thing about getflv is "saving mechanism":
it uses flash 11.7.700.202
but i've installed flash 12.0.0.70 and firefox uses version 12!!
that means this application has it's own flashplayer component!!
and probably saves video via it...

You have to install or update Flash Player through Internet Explorer as the Adobe website does so according to the browser you're using.

hi guestly

thank you,

I was referring to you thinking GetFLV uses it's own Flash Player when in fact it uses the version you have installed with Internet Explorer. You may have the latest version with Firefox but that has nothing to do with GetFLV.

Re: Help needed - rtmpdump with hulu plus on Windows

On April 20, 2014 I loaded V15.3 of ATES Multi-Downloader from https://www.mediafire.com/folder/ali...8z10/Documents and tried to download a Hulu video using the free version of Hulu and the instructions above. ATES seems to find the six links, three for the video and three for the ads, and it creates an empty .mp4 file in my hard disk but it never continues downloading any data. The downloaded data always stays at 0.0%00B.

Does this program need to have the data streaming in a browser while it captures the data or does this program independently download the file regardless of what the browser is doing?

Is anyone else still able to download from free Hulu? I am wondering if Hulu changed the encryption again and that is precluding downloads.

Thanks,
Dave

I found on the Facebook page for the AVGO downloader that someone said Hulu had changed again on April 9, 2014 so some downloaders that had adapted to the change that Hulu implemented about March 1, 2014 stopped working again.

Re: Help needed - rtmpdump with hulu plus on Windows

First of all, many thanks to mckv, blimey and itosteek for posting about ATRES. I would have never been able to learn about a non-English language program that can download Hulu videos if not for your generosity. Thank you, itosteek, for the visual tutorial.

I'm running ATRES v15.5 trying to download from Hulu. ATRES has correctly detected some darwin and akamai streams. I clicked the one that I presumed had the highest resolution video (it had "1000" in its name while the others only had smaller numbers). It seemed to connect properly, but the download wouldn't budge - it was stuck at 0 B/s. Any idea why?

I'm in the US so there's no need for me to go through a proxy. The video plays just fine in the window.
