Deezer made a major change related both to its streaming process and quality making current downloader obsolete. All streams are currently 128kbit/s MP3s and URL generation process has changed. The decryption process remains the same though. The development should be focused on its elite (FLAC / lossless) streaming service.

I would like you all to confirm the same (in case of any kind of regional-only restrictions).

None of this is true.
I just downloaded something and the files are in 320kbit/s

OFFTOPIC:

A somewhat similar streaming service called NetEase (music.163.com) has also applied new regional restrictions to its service, making both streaming and downloading HQ (320kbit/s) music outside of China impossible.

Another major service called Rdio was also recently shut down, also making downloading its high quality 126kbit/s AAC (almost equal to 320kbit/s MP3) impossible.

Grooveshark was also shut down last year but that's old news.

Spotify service is so well designed and secured that it's almost impossible to make anything out of it.

The only remaining services are TIDAL (WiMP) and Rhapsody, both of which have no non-premium subscription models.

The main point of this post is that unfortunately the future for any young stream ripper out there is not too bright currently (besides using unreliable and inefficient soundcard-based recording methods). New ways of high quality music stream ripping must be discovered...

"Reason: 8====D"

This must be a kid. It's working fine here.

Correction

Please don't flood this thread with subjective / ad hominem replies or take parts of the post out of context.

I kindly asked you to confirm whether or not is it still working, since the new regional restrictions obviously rendered the downloader unusable in some parts of the world.

All the information stated in my previous post is completely valid, but might only apply to some regions.

The following changes seem to have been occured in specific regions:

-quality of all streams is reduced to 128kbit/s regardless of subscription model

-prefix in a URL is "e-cdn-proxy" instead of "cdn-proxy"

-URL generation process remains the same even though "FILESIZE_MP3_128" property is always used regardless of "FILESIZE_MP3_256" or "FILESIZE_MP3_320" values
(in short, lower quality stream URL is generated regardless of higher quality stream availability)

Some files are 128kbit/s only. But that doesn't mean all of them are.
Apparently you are using a old version. Use this one: http://stream-recorder.com/forum/sho...&postcount=220

Did you set the checkmark for "Create Subdirectory for Albums"?
If so, please remove it, then it should work for this album.
It's because of the ? at the end of the album title.
