I pasted this before in another thread that's lost.

This method is interesting, but basically a certificate is pushed to the device (normally a base64 encoded cert) and the device accepts and uses this cert to contact a keyserver and download the decryption key and stores it locally on the device.

I'm sure you see a URI=skd:// or something similar in your playlist.

I'm still not able to figure out where the key is stored, or how it's obtained.

Has anyone tried this method to get Hulu+ HD files on iOS?
I managed to download 720p episodes from Hulu+ with UVD and play them too. UVD downloads the key, but I couldn't decode the files.

Never tired HuLu with UVD. It will be interesting to see what develops from this.

The keyfile is the file "60211660" with no extension.
It is playable on UVD.

Never tried UVD for HuLu but, GetFLV is working on HuLu Plus right now. I've snatched 1500K streams but, so far no luck with 3200K streams from http://download.hulu.com/huludesktop.swf

I know the 3200K streams can be had with GetFLV but, they won't download for me.

Naw. 3200K is still 720p it's just higher bit rate. When I try to snatch the 3200K files it gives a message "unable to download normally" "would you like to record in rtmp mode?" There is a guy who is ripping the 3200K streams with GetFLV I think he's using a slightly older version than I am but, I compared a rip I did with the exact same episode he ripped and I couldn't really tell enough difference to make me go out of my way to use the http://download.hulu.com/huludesktop.swf version of HuLu. It's a much bigger pain in the ass to deal with and spams you with trailers and shit.
