He knows what he is talking about when it comes to hulu... and he did offer kind of a fix. Use hulu desktop if you want higher bitrates as it still works, and also if you have seen many of his posts he is usually correct in what he has to say. Just look at his post history.

He's not alone. I'm not stupid, but what page is there to read? That swf link opens Hulu Desktop in a browser. Even when I use the Hulu Desktop link within GetFLV I only get the 650K stream. What am I missing?

same here - even with latest GETflv and hulu browser and desktop, there are no HD streams

I think I might have figured it out. Before GetFLV broke last week, I was able to get the HD streams even while my account was on hold. With the desktop version, the HD streams are not available unless I take my account off hold. That is my working theory, but I'm not going to pay for another month of service to test it until hopefully a new working version of GetFLV comes out.

I can get streams up to 3100K on huludesktop. I'm using the version posted at getflv.net.

The latest version (178, 16-March date stamp) still doesn't work from the regular Hulu page (in fact, the 650k link is only a preview video, not the entire episode), but Hulu Desktop is working for the multiple bitrate streams, including HD, when logged into my premium account.

Here's a tip that some may find useful for getting a free premium ($7.99) Hulu account: Bing offers a month subscription to it for 680 points. You can acquire about 30 points a day doing searches with your PC and mobile device, and I think another 10 if you use an iPhone, which I don't have. I've been doing this month after month and it's a cool way to get stuff for free, including Amazon gift cards. A few minutes a day can get you some pretty cool stuff.

Hulu is using http://http-e-darwin.hulu.com/ now and variations of it.

Getflv needs to be updated again to get the new url, they were using dash for awhile but changed it again, looks like they will keep changing it every so often to keep programs like getflv from functioning properly.

I just downloaded the newest version 9.9.185.88 and I can't even register with my lifetime account?

Even no new email, so I will try to send them a message, but they never answer :(

It's just a nightmare for me :(

Try to use 99.9.178.88 with your current key to see if it will send you an email to update to a new key, and be sure to check your spam in case it send it there instead by mistake.

The new version is not storing the registration key in the registry when you input it in where it ask to register your product on start up so it sees it as a trail product still.

Upgraded to 9.9.188.88 (March 23, 2016) and it took my registration key again, but now it is broken getting any streams from hulu once again. One thing gets fixed and then another breaks once again. They probably have hulu staff checking this board for comments. It is using http://http-v-darwin.hulu.com for some video and http://http-e-darwin.hulu.com for other videos.

Is there any way to make getflv + huludesktop more usable? For one ep it gets links fine, then for next ep only 650k preview, even though the episode playes ifne. Only after some time passes and restarting of huludesktop can get next link but one after that doesn't work again. And so on.

... and you may find some premium Hulu account completely for free.

I was really surprised that something like this exists and is working.
Of course you share these accounts with the real owner so please be respectful.

... but I don't really need this, just stumble upon that when I tried to reduce the ads load on the hulu page.

For me, GETFLV stalls during Hulu movie download around 60% completed and will not recover.

I got it to fully download, but the resolution is not so great, can try to use the Hulu desktop method to try and get one higher. It will fully download the move, but and this is a big but too, you will have to let the program run for a few hours to download it all, so you might want to find a good way to kill some time.;)

The 1000K flv one is the one downloaded, if you have no luck getting it can give you the mega link here if that would not be against the policy.

so basicly the only good thing about this program (hulu ripping) is done. Now this software should be archived. Adownloader can do everything this crapware does
