Yep, if decodeURIComponent is used on a string with some characters not allowed on a url, it will crash the program without the use of try-catch combo.

Hey I have a problem with the horacio mfc-node/capturebate-node. I followed the instructions on the github page, but when I run the main.js and choose mfc it just opens another cmd window. Opening the link http://localhost:9080 does nothing

My node.bat batch script supports the above directories, but it is not a problem to edit node.bat if it is not case.
I node.bat keep in 'C:\Windows\'. I suggest that after editing node.bat using the program 'Advanced BAT_to_EXE_Converter' create an exe whose shortcut can put in the taskbar for easy launch.

I wanted to test a new feature, multi-node but I'm having trouble running. I have read the tips but without the knowledge of English I can not understand Could you show a screenshot of the settings in nm.bat?

Would be nice if he did, but last time he updated it, he removed the donate button because nobody was using it. Too bad really, this provides incentive to carry on maintaining it when mfc inevitably decides to break something.

My suggestion to antihero if he decides to fix it, is to bring the button back as a paypal option. My alternate suggestion would be to release the source code so that we can all help keep it going.

I use firefox, I click on M3U8 and its configured to open the playlist in Media Player Classic (installed from K-Lite codec pack).
Media Player Classic is also configured to open in a new window, so I can have many streams at the same time with low CPU load. Firefox + MPC is great.

You must configure Firefox to open M3U8 with MPC.
In firefox go to --> tools --> options --> applications --> Now search for M3U8 and change its behaviour to use MPC.

Line 455 in his index.html now is:

You're right ... sorry. I have really seen at one point undecoded text but now that I have tried again with your files everything looks OK.
Anyway, I still think that the same result would be with just one line I suggested to you ;) I use it and I have no problem.

It's not as easy as it sounds. I don't think AntiHero ever released the source code to CamgirlzREC. Therefore, it would require someone to make an entirely new program from scratch. The node options on here are good alternatives.

Later user 00101010101 showed me some applications based on MFCRecorder, unfortunately for a few weeks also does not work. Maybe some programmer will look at whether it is possible to update?

Application Description:

"This is the HD-updated copy, download livestreamer or ffmpeg and put it in the respective folder (livestreamer works better and is default).

Run switch.bat to switch between livestreamer and ffmpeg, livestreamer is the default.

I'd recommend unchecking the hide ffmpeg option in the file menu so you can see what's happening, resolution, errors, etc.

You should see something like this for 800x600 (600p) recording if you are using livestreamer, it automatically chooses the highest quality available:

I don't think it will be possible, there are no source code in your attachment. Updated: Actually, there is another link a couple messages above, I did not see it.

Probably, we could try to "wrap" node solution in .exe file. It will never have the same features like CamgirlzREC has, however, it might simplify the life of that people who knows nothing about the node.

I've just tried on my Mac and got .exe file, but I cannot test it, cause I'm a macOS user. Horacio, can you do it? Looks like it should be quite simple to create an standalone app.
