I also recently posted about this - that previously hulu rips of higher bitrates than 2000k were available - so how do we go about downloading these if getflv cannot do it anymore:(

In case it seemed I was being too critical of the program in my previous post, I will say that GetFLV is excellent at downloading SD shows that are less than an hour. But it seems that recently it has lost some of the things it was able to do in the past such as pause a download and continue it, which was a way to get around longer shows and movies. It seems that the downloader freezes once it has downloaded a certain amount of parts, which causes it to stop not just the download of that file, but any others that may be downloading as well. I did a test where I downloaded a 90 minute TV movie and then, when it was around 50% done with that, started to download a 25 minute show. BOTH stopped downloading once the longer show got to around the 72% mark. And again, it never seems to stop at the exact same percentage on the same show, which makes me believe it's an issue with the program. If this could be fixed or at least restored to being able to pause and resume like it could do in the past, that would be great.

I am having the same problem, I have the latest version. Program is also asking me to download the latest FlashPlayer. Mine is current. I hope they will fix the problem soon. Thanks.:)

GetFLV - FLV Converter/Remux not working

 

Well getting this little misleading error message on this:
"At least one output file must be specified"

However running DebugView asside, I saw GetFlv slamming this silence
Exception:
...[FFmpegException] Unknown encoder "original"...
And indeed that's more to point.:D

since anything else than selecting 'remux' (that'll cause the decoder name set to 'original') will work.

Well changing the CodecName from original -> copy like this:

Who ever runs getflv.com needs to fix their server, someone broke in and leaked users keys for the product online.

Starting today, no Hulu streams show up to download. I've tried 9.8.833.88 and 9.9.129.88

I've also tried an older version, but keeps freezing when I see a link?

Maybe Hulu changed settings again, or is it another update?

Only Hulu ads display Titles. Hulu movies don't display capturable Title links.

Getflv is broken.

huluedgecast no even playing in hulu very own swf player.

Is there any chance of fixing SyFy so that it can do network provider authentication? Currently, Getflv can't perform the login.

The last communication from anybody at GetFLV was actually December 17th, 2015. The fact that they say this is a complete joke. There has been no support and no acknowledgements that there are issues for over a month and a half. My faith in this program barely exists any more - kinda like their presence in their "Official" support thread.

Warning, upgraded to 9.9.136.88 and was notified that my registration code had expired and had to get a new one. Still will not download hulu videos. *email for new registration code may go to your junk mail depending on email provider*.

My one-year license has just expired last month, so I will have to make a decision if and when the program starts working on Hulu again.

I didn't have a one year license thought, had a life time one and it still made me change my registration code, and has not even been a year yet.

There's something broken with the checking algorithm would be my guess. I got an access violation or some similar error upon running the new version. When trying to run it, it loads, but then about 20 seconds later it dies, with Windows stating the program has stopped working.

I think I have wasted my $50 to buy it.
All Download stop at 99% and the program hangs.

No email reply from their support at all.

I think this is a scam and I have request a charge back.

I upgraded with new registration and tried to download some hulu movies. The movie streams display. When a stream is selected to record, the display flips to the FLV Downloader screen and sits with the movie title in the Filename column and no download activity indicated at all. However, my router and DSL modem shows rapid internet access that usually means a download occurring. The file folder target shows the movie file with a size = 0 and not increasing. It almost seems that the download process is looping on writing the first buffer to disk. In any event, the download does not work.

if no video being able to playing on hulu using huludesktop.swf - then getflv will no being able to downloading.

But that's good, because sometimes people share their code with other people

I recieved my new code within a minute, and worked fine

But I need to get hulu episodes soon, because I'm lost without them ;)

Upgraded to 9.9.138.88 (February 09, 2016) today and once again it asked me to input my registration code for the product. Tried to download from hulu once again and nothing happened but the program crashing because of the rtmp.dll Program would not grab the urls for a show from this week for hulu either.

This weeks x-files episode urls would not come up and had to restart it a few times before it would catch them, but it still wont download any shows from hulu and hulu desktop just shows activity but nothing being downloaded.

i sent them an email wanting a refund...
they wrote me back and asked me
which ones i was having trouble with...

i told them and never heard from them again

all in all it worked for about three weeks
out of the year that i paid for it...

They need to fix the bug also of having to input your registration code with each new update now. Vdigger has also been crashing a lot lately with rtmp.dll with the latest updates.

Would you please fix hulu by Feb 13th? A program* is expiring then. It is an old program that isn't available in good quality anywhere else that I can find. If you can't fix it by Feb 13th please explain the reason for the delay. Hulu has been broke on GetFLV for over two weeks now! Could someone describe some other alternatives to GetFLV to save from hulu?

*The program is an old Japanese B&W movie from 1962 called The Inheritance.
Edit: I no longer need help with the expiring program. A kind member here helped with the download.

I would like to know as well, the program that I have been using no longer works. Hulu has stopped RTMP according to my source.

If someone could PM me on this with an alternate method, I would appreciate it.:cool:

PlayOn apparently can capture just about anything. But it seems that they use high quality screen scraping. They've added Ad Skipping as well but it's not as seamless avoiding the ads as capturing the movie stream like getflv does.
