This works, but I notice the .ts file is randomly starting during the concert, is this normal? Or: how can I force it to start at the beginning of the stream?

i have download the m3u8 file but i don't know what to do whit it VLC and WMP just find error when i try to open it i don't know how to use FFMPEG nor livestreamer to get the full video i just want to convert the concert from this page

Update for those of us less computer literate folks:

I've had the live streamer running since this morning... it's currently at 2h 41m and it's going at around 760 KB/s download speed... current file is 7.12 GB...

For any pros out there: does that sound accurate? How long does it usually take, and how big is the file usually?

:D I plan on it, but I've tried uploading longer videos on my YouTube before and it didn't allow me. If it doesn't, I'll put it in my Dropbox for others to download. DM me for contact info!

Hi all...

Having no clue what I was doing, I just let it go pretty much all day... and now I have this insane file... and still don't know what to do. :p Any further assistance is appreciated.

I have a 19.7 GB .ts file that's almost 7 hours of video... lol. Not complaining because I watched it and verified that I got what I was looking for (several times over)...

Just trying to figure out now how to trim it and convert into something like mp4 so I can save it on my iPad. (and upload to YouTube for my BH fam).

EDIT:- Its strange to me maybe 1st time for me.. when i sniff normal data i got max 720p in master playlist.. but when i follow up jason data for stream i got 1080p link too.... and got direct MP4,FLV links too....:D :D
