It seems like all recording ids after a certain number won't work. Anything below 16900000 appears to work, but anything above (and close to) 17000000 won't work.

Yes, if rec id is 17017327 or later it cannot be downloaded, filesize will remain 0 bytes :(

Even if there are news about this (or anything else related to cam sites) no one is that stupid anymore to post anything since this is public forum and everything posted gets patched soon after.

Yes, exactly.

This forum is one of the main reasons why nowadays it's not possible anymore to download private/group shows for free on most webcam sites. People here were publicly helping each other and within a few weeks the webcam sites had fixed their security flaws. If you can find this forum, so can the administrators of the webcam sites.

I even had administrators of webcam sites contacting me, pretending to be regular users, to help them fix their security flaws.

For example, one guy contacted me to ask for help with downloading private shows for free from a certain webcam site. I told him that there was no way for me to figure that out unless I had access to an account with credits on it. Three days later he happily gave me an account with $8,000 worth of credits, which made no sense at all. If you're so wealthy that you can give me (a random stranger on the internet) an account with $8,000 worth of credits, then you can easily pay for your private shows. I instantly knew that he was an administrator of the webcam site, trying to use me to find security flaws on his site, so I ignored him.

Thanks for putting it into some nicer words than mine. Btw, I have seen (years ago) that owners have been offering to pay some silly amounts of money to anyone who report security hole into their camming platforms. I am saying silly since most of the popular cam sites are making millions of $ of profit and were offering like 100 or 200 bucks. It's kind a more insulting than fair offer. Btw, I like your logic with this guy. Actually it's common sense and i find it strange that he had such dumb approach. However, cam site owners usually have extremely high opinion about themselves and their services thinking like they are close to the Gods so at some point I can understand this as well.

Yeah, definitely. Generally i guess the "happy days of free loading" (like about 10 years ago) are absolutely gone and presumably will never come back again.

And if there would be single major cam sites where it would be still possible to download (i personally know 2 of them) private shows in "alternative ways", those information would be worth thousands of dollars nowadays. It is as simple as that!

So anyone who would post such precious information in a free forum, must be kind of pretty stupid :D
