Sorry, I'm not that good at it.

May be Duokan is not launched because you are not pressing SHIFT-D-S fast enough. You can change the launchpad .ini file to allow pressing slower.

Thank you so much that is really cool. Now I have some decent PDF support on my Kindle 3 wireless, plus FBreader for EPUBS

Then I pressed shift D S and that went successful too. Now at this point I am not clear as to what is supposed to happen. Does duokan run or what?

However, nothing seemed to happen.

Then I pressed shift D X and it failed.

Then I pressed shift shift I as suggested by you, that too failed.

I really like duokan and I am very keen to access its pdf capability from within kindle but so far all my attempts have failed. I hope you can guide me through this. Thanks a bunch.

I had the same failure. The solution is to create the startdk.sh file with Unix line-ending format. For this purpose, you must use a linux editor (i.e. gedit).

From windows, you can use Programmer's Notepad (http://www.pnotepad.org/). Configure it at Tools -> Line Endings -> Unix (LF).

If you want, try using the attached file. Just change the extension to .sh
