Agreed. Downloading streams is MUCH better. Software solutions to download streams are addressed elsewhere on this forum.

it depends upon the stream. assuming it is mp3, and if it has 'detectable' silence
mp3splt will cut it. use the '-s -p th=-xx' flags. it also has time modes. otherwise split it by hand using MP3DirectCut.

I have downloaded and cut the episodes into movie's. To do it, I need to be able to pull the voices out of a single audio track, ditch the music so that i can add my own and not have chopped up music when I edit the clips into a movie.
