There are lots of streaming video recorders for Windows, but still I can't chose the best one that can record every possible stream. By the way, you may use Windows software on your Mac as well (you'll need Mac with Bootcamp, Parallels Desktop for Max OS X or similar software).

Right now most problematic streams are RTMPE streams (from Adobe servers) and MovMediaPlayer streams. I recommend you to create a separate thread for every stream you can't record.

There are many softwares you can find on Internet. Replay Media Catcher 3, WM Recorder 14 etc. Hope this will help you.

i have a FAQ:

Some video streams are not live (see for example the Polish video), but rtmpdump, Blader and Replay Media Catcher need to download it as "live stream". So how do i know that a streaming video needs to be downloaded with the "live"-switch/parameter on?

The only hint so far i have is RMC4's log in Downloading Mode. It would say "live" somewhere in the log (when in Downloading Mode).

What's best way to capture the archived stream from the Phish 4-day New Years Eve run? It looks like it is playing in JW player, an Adobe Flash Player I think. Once captured can you then split it into individual songs and convert to play in iTunes/iPod?

Can you to help me? A question for Blader. I use Blader 5.0.351.0614. Where is in Blader a setting of an amount of translations downloaded simultaneously? If I put more than 50 translations on downloading all remaining translations stand in a queue and aren't swung. Is a possibility to increase their number? Still a question. I download video stream from a video chat. After translation is completed, it is necessary to delete it from the list and to deliver anew on downloading. Whether there is a possibility that Blader did it automatically? Thanks

I'm very new to this forum as well as streaming video recording task.
I have wondershare streaming video recorder installed in my computer.
But I do not understand how download tv serials (streaming videos)
from the internet.

So please if anyone can help me out in this matter will be highly appriciated.
