youtube uses http... its easy to download youtube vids.

most rtmp streams dont use local cache. (i havent seen one that does yet)

The thing is, I tested cache ripping on MySpace songs yesterday, and it works fine. Otherwise I wouldn't be suggesting one of the oldest tricks in the book.

MySpace has RTMP and HTTP flash streams. Like compn, I haven't seen any RTMP player that saves data to the cache of the browser.

Now you may also use Replay Media Catcher to record HTTP and RTMP .MP3 audio streams from MySpace
