"FLV Extract" extracts raw streams of audio and video. you must put those streams in appropriate container before checking their duration.

with MP4Box
Code:

MP4Box -add "video stream.h264":fps=25 output.mp4
put correct stream name and fps value for your video.

for users who dont like to code or type, a simple GUI for lossless packaging of RAW audio data (or RAW video data) is yamb. i even prefer that to fixing FLV's with FLV Fix tools.

For example, when you (losslessly) extract *.264 and *.aac with FLVExtract and you then try to package them as *.mp4 with yamb, then use the "Avg Frame Rate" (and not the "True Frame Rate") displayed by FLVExtract. yamb sometimes ask you to enter "frame rate", sometimes it doesnt.

If the MP4 is still out of sync (audio vs. video), then use as "frame rate" the "videoframerate" as seen by "FLV Fix" (Replay Media Catcher 4) after you have fixed the FLV with "Fix Duration".

Have you tried Replay Media Catcher ?

I use it all the time for extracting mp3 from video, and it works perfectly each time!

This was another post I found valuable. It also explains how to convert flv to mp3 files. Good tutorial as well.

It also helps convert FLV to other popular video and audio formats like MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, WAV, AAC, AC3, FLAC, etc.
