fu4wm won't work with IBX with IBX 11.0.6000.7000. But you can always try to install a fresh copy of Windows XP (install a standalone copy or use virtual machine). And you can try to downgrade WMP. It has been discussed many times.

As for other DRM removal software, it was mentioned above

If I try to go the XP route I"m guessing it would come with an older player of Media Player and than software that's troubling me would work with it? If so I'm willing to now give it a shot. What's a virtual machine though? Like I said I don't get a lot of this so I apologize and also thank you for the help thus far.

When you downgrade WMP, you lose all your licenses :eek: . But it doesn't really mean that lossless DRM removal software will work.

A virtual machine is like a virtual computer. It allows to run other OSes including different versions of Windows or Unices from the OS you usually use. You just click the Play button to run another OS.

It might be easier to run another copy of Windows on a virtual machine than reboot your PC. But obiviously you need more system resources to run two OSes simultaneously.

Please read about MS Virtual PC, VMWare,... to learn more.

Hmmmm...ok. Either way it sounds like it's gonna take a decent effort and with my luck it won't work and I'll have just wasted more time. Are there any other possible options/programs that could work?

Ok so now after getting that 1.3 fix-2, when I drag the file onto FairUse I get a message saying "Provide interoperability for windows media files has stopped working".

Also when I used that Mirakagi program it gave me this when I ran it...

"Mirakagi starts, code version 0.9
Found 0 keys in keyring.
-----------------
Processing "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM\cache\Indiv0 2.key"
Version: 11.0.6000.7000 ...
XML - Cert: 84 bytes, Key Storage: 2762 bytes.
DLL 1000/a5bda @ ac01000 && a7000/1d981 @ aca7000
Exception c0000005 caught during file "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM\cache\Indiv0 2.key".
It is finished."

I'm having the same error message with fu4wm.

When I run mirakagi, I get the following:

div02.key"
Version: 11.0.6000.7000 ...
XML - Cert: 84 bytes, Key Storage: 2762 bytes.
DLL 1000/b0782 @ ac01000 && b2000/1d701 @ acb2000
Exception c0000005 caught during file "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM\cache\Indiv0 2.key".
It is finished.

Is it because of Vista?

You can always try lossy DRM removal software and screen video capture software.
