Re: How to stream video/images from CCTV cameras using AVtech 4 ch DVR and Mac OS

Hi SD,

I work for All Things Digital in Miami, FL and we are one of the largest importers/distributors for AVTECH DVR's. We offer free tech support to all of our customers if they purchased the equipment through our company. I will try my best to help you but what I want everyone to know and understand a few things about the equipment first. Many companies that sell AVTECH equipment don't always advertise the exact features and abilities of the equipment they are offering/selling. For example, you can order DVR's from AVTECH that may not necessarily have the latest firmware version or even the correct motherboard essential for viewing on a MAC or carrying out other functions. This allows companies to sell AVTECH DVR's cheaper than others but yet they advertise all the same features that are only available with the higher quality AVTECH DVR's such as the one's our company imports.

Back to the matter at hand, all of our DVR's are compatible with MAC computers via the Safari browser. Apple does have a software that was developed to work with AVTECH DVR's but they want $40 for it. They do offer a free 10 minute demo and the link to our website where you can download it is below:

Feel free to contact me with any questions.
