I'm still trying to get a way to do this. Are there any other stream recording forums out there?

Any updates in software that might see this ability included?

The following streaming media forum was very popular
p069.ezboard.com/bstreemeboxvcr
until our forum has stolen the spotlight. The most experienced member of the forum veblin haven't visiting the forum for more than a year. Another very experienced member compn is a moderator of our stream recording forums.

You may also visit the following forum that is created to support software of Applian Technologies, the leading developer of stream recording software:
forum.applian.com

Other forums that have tiny stream recording sections:
forum.videohelp.com
forums.afterdawn.com

The problem is that this question is more about offline browsers like Offline Explorer Pro. There is no problem recording Windows Media streams, but the slides can't be downloaded easily. IMHO you should find a forum about offline browsers and ask a question in it.

p.s. Unfortunately I really doubt that any developer of stream recording software will make this task urgent.

Hey med007 / stream recorder -

Did you guys ever have any luck figuring out how to capture the complete presentation slides?

As you explained, I am able to capture the video but having both is very important to me.

Thanks.

You may try the latest version of Offline Explorer Pro. You may also try to find slide links with freeware URL Snooper and then download the slides with any download manager.

However you will have lots of slides that needs to be linked to your streaming video somehow. That is the main problem.

IMHO screen video capture software is the best recording option here.

This is what worked for me when trying to download video and slides from a sonicfoundry presentation:

URL Snooper for the slides (set protocol filter to "Show All", and enter a keyword specific to the URL of the slides in the Keyword Filter; eg "640". simply jpg would probably work too but has the disadvantage that the URL's of other images on websites you visit in the meantime might get captured as well. When the video has stopped playing, "Stop Search" in URLSnooper; Select All URL's and paste it in a txt file, saving it on the Desktop with as filename.lst This file can then be loaded in NetTransport
(Net Transport 1.87 is the last freeware version) to batch-download the bunch.

In combination with WebVideoCap for the video part.
