Re: a dumb need help for rtmpdumpHi sorry for the bump, but I'm having trouble with a similar MTV Networks page.
I am trying to download the Double Dare clips from this page: Code:

Re: a dumb need help for rtmpdumpHey, thanks for that. May I ask as to how you found that URL? I'm not sure how I would set up the command though, since I get this error:
Code:
RTMPDump v2.2d Code:
./rtmpdump -r "rtmp://cp79285.edgefcs.net:80/ondemand?ovpfv=1.1" -a "ondemand?ovpfv=1.1" -y "mp4:/root/international_program_sales/b2b_site/trailers/01_11/rt180275_promo_mipcom_2_384x288_600.mp4" -o guts2.mp4 |
Re: a dumb need help for rtmpdumpuse rtmpdumpV2.4
Code:
rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://viacomnickstrmfs.fplive.net:1935/viacomnickstrm" -y "mp4:gsp.alias/mediabus/nick.com/2012/05/04/03/54/267228/_66750_3766228_267228_20120504155439092_640x480_1600_m30.mp4" -o 30.flv |

Am I wrong or v2.4 is actually for Lion only? Both me and JALsnipe are using SL. Any idea if v2.3 still fits with the above requirements (download from MTV ondemand)? thanks |

I followed your instructions and I got to the XML feed.....but when I try to download the jhtml file, I don't get the XML with rtmp URLs, the browser is redirected instead  I followed these steps:
any idea of how to get rtmp:// ?? probably the keyValues={keyValues}&franchise={franchise} in step 3 are responsible of some sort of authentication....... |
