Hi sorry for the bump, but I'm having trouble with a similar MTV Networks page.

I am trying to download the Double Dare clips from this page:
I got this URLs from the first video:
But when I try to decrypt the CONFIG_URL from here:
It sends me to this page:
And there are no media:content tags. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.7 so I need to find the rtmp url the long way. Thanks in advance!

Hey, thanks for that. May I ask as to how you found that URL? I'm not sure how I would set up the command though, since I get this error:

use rtmpdumpV2.4

Am I wrong or v2.4 is actually for Lion only? Both me and JALsnipe are using SL.
Any idea if v2.3 still fits with the above requirements (download from MTV ondemand)?

I followed your instructions and I got to the XML feed.....but when I try to download the jhtml file, I don't get the XML with rtmp URLs, the browser is redirected instead :mad:

   that is just the MTV homepage :( :(

any idea of how to get rtmp:// ??
probably the keyValues={keyValues}&franchise={franchise} in step 3 are responsible of some sort of authentication.......
