I had a similar problem as you, From GetFLV 9.0.3.7 and onwards, the program would close as soon as a stream was opened, the problem was becuase I still had a 10.2 version of flash installed, new versions of Getflv do not seem to work well with older versions of flash? when I updated to the latest version of flash it solved the problem and the program no longer crashes as soon as a stream is detected

That's exactly how GetFLV is installed correctly:
+ download and install the very latest GFLV version
+ then download and install the very latest Flash version (for Internet Explorer)
+ then launch GFLV and work with it.

It wont crash anymore.

HBO-GO sign in problem

I have newest GetFLV 9.0.4.0

When I go to HBOGO and try to sign in I get the choice of my HBO provider but after sellecting mine the followup screen where i would put in my email and password never shows up.

i have tried making IE and Chrome my default browser and neither works. Yet, if i go directly from those browsers i have no problem logging on to HBO, but i can't do so if in GetFlv

I've been a registered user of GetFLV for a few months now and up until recently I've been very contented with my purchase.
Recently, however, new versions only let me download from RTMPE streams (mainly hulu) immediately after the first installation. I've been using 9.0.2.8 because that's the last version I could find that works, but recently it's been telling me it can't work with the latest flash player and won't record streams either.

I'll go on a video and instead of a list of available streams to record appearing, the list remains blank.
The only way to fix this is to uninstall and then immediately re-install the program.

Before this I was seriously considering buying a lifetime licence, but this has been going on for a few months now and I am very dissatisfied with it.

I have the exact same kind of problem. A pop-up like this shows up every time I start GetFLV.

"This version of GetFLV can not work with your flash player now. Please install latest GetFLV from ourwebsite to check it again!"

I have the latest flash player (10.3.183.7) and FireFox (6.01) installed along with the latest GetFLV (9.0.4.1) program.
I've tried to install and re-install all of the programs four times now, still doesn't work. :(

Re: GetFLV can download Hulu.com videos now? I have problems with it!

Lexus, have you installed latest Flash for Internet Explorer 8? The GetFLV browser engine is 100% based on Internet Explorer, no matter if you configure your Firefox (or Safari or Opera) to be the default web browser on your system.

if you have, and still experience problems, please point to the HULU url which you're interested. getflv will check it, and me too.

Oh crap! I've must have posted in the wrong topic.. Sorry!
Thanks for the heads up on IE and the fast reply though. I installed the latest flash for IE and made it also the default web browser, and i re-installed GetFLV after that but i still have the same problem.
Im actually not after any Hulu videos, but i hope you can help me anyway, im experiencing a similiar problem on some other sites.. take tsn.ca for example. Here you have 2 screencaps.

First one is just when i start up GetFLV, this pop-up shows up.

Second one is when im browsing the tsn.ca site, it shows just a black box instead of the actual video. (you see the video list on the right)
When im just surfing with my original browser those videos shows up for me but not in the browser on GetFLV. :(

I have no idea what to do.
