This has been asked previously numerous times, including by me, but there is never a reply. Adownloader can see the higher bitrate streams, including subtitles, when using a Plus account, but cannot download them. That program is what I personally use for WWE Network as it's pretty reliable.

This is another issue I've asked about and again, no reply. While I'm not happy that it can't seem to reliably download them properly, it's good to know I'm not the only one this is happening to.

That is why we need to perfect the UVD method. I was able to download hulu streams @ 3100K on an ipad first gen IOS 5.1.1 and move the files over to a windows pc. The multiple .ts files are not encrypted and I was able to use the .m3u8 file in ffmpeg to make a single .ts file but, the problem was there were ads present and the video speeds up and slows down plus the audio is out of sync but, it was in fact a full quality rip. This method just needs to be perfected. The fact that I got as far as I did is proof that the IOS method has potential but, I seem to get no replies on this so, I'll ask once again if anyone knows how to make a working file of this then please help. We are already so close. I tested on a movie as well and it reaches completion but, is plagued with the same issues. I am going to try and delete all advertising in the rip before running ffmpeg again. I am hoping this might solve the problem.

Hey Getflv, why I can't download from hulu.com today. Hulu desktop is good but the main web is error. Maybe hulu has some change or something?

Big Ups to GETFLV; after calling them out here about their emails bouncing on their support page, they responded AND gave me a new reg name and key within 24 hrs after I PM'd them. Sorry about taking up space here...just nice to know that they made good on their word; more than a lot of other vendors, that's for sure. Props, GetFlv! Dave B.

You could have just been honest and said you don't know how to use the hulu files from uvd or you could have simply said you didn't want to help.

when I said that I meant actually "showing/telling methods to reverse engineer/ decrypt things" .. I'm not worried about anything happening to my account as I can always "recover" it :D

Oh .. and I BEEN showed you the "proof" of doing the Hulu rips :rolleyes: that was like the first couple of PM's I ever sent you .. I'll show you how to do it ONE day :cool:

I never did get past the removing ads and sync issues. The IOS method has been a total failure for ME. Obviously you have it all figured out since your output of the rip is full HD. Congratulations. I would imagine that you are not limited with movies anymore then since UVD gets all the data where GetFLV stalls on movies. There is not much more I can do and I'm not going to beg you for instructions. I thought this place was about stream recording techniques not being shown that it can be done and then being told that maybe I'll help you someday. Really. What is the satisfaction in all that? It would have been better if you never said anything at all.

also getflv no never stuck unless multitaksing any other programs or yes running taskbar programs such a/v security.

You're right stinkfoot. I let my frustration with trying to solve this puzzle get the better of me and I gave an unwanted attitude as a result so, I apologize to WHOOKIDSON for the attitude. If the day comes where I get the result I desire then that would be great. If not that is fine as well. Thank you for clearing things up for me.

You had a point though Jinjoni. Why talk about ripping anything but not actually help somebody who is asking for help on the subject? I also would like help. I PMd whokid but no response and after seeing how he doesnt want to help anyone, he just wants to show off, it makes me believe he isnt going to respond. It is his right to do so and i cant get mad at a guy for that lol

yes you having setting heart on using getflv? yes video downloading using much tools. hds link detect, idm, much other.

if yes must be using only getflv, trying iframe url ipad mode second chance of making downloading.

Versions: 9813918 & 9813618 no longer capturing hulu.com movies streams as of today. They only see the ads.

They were working. I guess hulu changed something.

Are there any new working versions for hulu.com movies?

I uninstalled GETFLV and reinstall 9.8.166.18. Same results. Only ad streams are captured. What broke?

The ad streams show up and the movie never even starts.
This is happening with all the Hulu movies I've tried.
However, the TV shows (at least the Daily Show) downloaded okay.

UPDATE 8/14/2015: ONLY the Daily Show stream captured okay . Maybe because it's an older stream.
Other TV show streams are not captured - just like the movie streams.


Any suggestions?

Yeah I can confirm it's no longer working with Hulu as well and i just install the latest exe from the site.

GETFLV 9.8.169.18 sames as before. Not working. Only displays the ads streams from Hulu movies.

For some reason, web access to Hulu seems to take longer.

I've attached the screen view of what is shown.
No movie is displayed, only ads.

I think this may be a difficult one to troubleshoot since I have success with some shows but not others.

My current workaround for this is to use Hulu Desktop and download the shows that way.

That being said, I'm still having an issue, as mentioned by someone else previously, with downloading subtitles using Hulu Desktop. Once I login, I go to my preferences and turn on subtitles. GetFLV will download the subtitles for only the first show, then it saves the same subtitles for all additional shows I download. This resets itself after reloading the Desktop, usually after it errors out.

I have not any luck with downloading movies from Hulu with the up to version 9.8.169.18 . In fact, GETFLV browser doesn't even display the movie. It only displays and captures ad streams.

Thanks for the suggestion.
The streams are shown and I was able to download the fplive stream.
However, it looks like this workaround has a limited lifespan when Hulu takes away the desktop or it becomes too buggy.
