Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...Anyone else having problems with the latest version of GetFLV? For example, BBC iPlayer streams are detected but download never starts. These work fine if I revert to an earlier version.

Problem downloading from ImLive using GetFLV |
Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...Actually, its only the flyNN.globalmailer.com (where NN is either a 1 or 2 digit number) servers that are only allowing 40-45 seconds of a stream to be downloaded. The other servers that it uses for streams don't have that problem.

Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...I cannot download from BBCIPlayer with GetFLV 9.0.3.5. The player asks me to enable JAVACRIPT, which is already enabled in IE9. I am using Windows 7 X86 with all the latest updates. This problem only occurs if I use GetFlv to download from BBCIplayer. I can watch programs from the BBCIplayer using IE9, Firefox 5, No problem with JAVASCRIPT. Thanks for any help. I am using the latest version of Adobe Flash player.

Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...The latest version of it is telling me that it doesn't support the latest stable version of Flash.
EDIT: I fixed the problem by reinstalling it. What caused the problem is that I deleted the gui.dat file in \Program Files\GetFLV). It would be nice to know what every file that is installed does. That way you can see if there's any way to trim the size of the installed program. |
Re: any way to speed up GetFLV's capture rate?Try a newer version of it. Your problem was probably solved.

@billsantos Sorry, somehow your post got lost when i merged your thread with this troubleshooting thread. You may want to tell us what your download rate is (which video link?) and then we could compare rates. You dont mean the "rate of capturing URLs" (lol), do you? If so, simply ignore. Webpages are being getting complexer and GFLV is far from a perfected piece of software. All we can agree with is, GFLV is quite mature (stable!) and with some patience and trying gets your video downed, somehow. Problem (the download task) solved -- Isnt this what counts most after all? ;) Yes, try the latest version (v9.0.3.8). @Zero3K getflv hasnt been writing much lately (forum posts or PM's). Thanks for sharing your experience, tests, suggestions, review, criticism and feedback with us. I'm sorry that getflv hasnt responded so far and that your posts seem to have got ignored. It's probably still summer, hot and vacation at getflv's place (Ch**a :D), maybe that's the reason for their low profile these days. We'll see. Dear prospective customers, hold on with your purchase. If there is no urge to buy, dont rush with it. :) |
