Another 1080p version:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99yZGvGQT8I

Code:

1920x1080  DASH video 4418k , 30fps, video only, 2.78GiB
Code:

DASH audio  135k , m4a_dash container, aac  @128k (44100Hz), 117.80MiB
Previous 1080p version:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3fxS_GwOyA

Code:

1920x1080  DASH video 5620k , h264, 60fps, video only, 3.70GiB
Code:

DASH audio  134k , m4a_dash container, aac  @128k (44100Hz), 115.21MiB
It seems that the 720p MP4 file [in both versions] has a higher audio bitrate: 192 Kbps

Re: How to download stream from Yahoo Screen?

so I think I have finding the links (.m3u8 etc) down thanks to this thread!

Would someone please explain what the best way to record/capture and view a live stream both at the same time? I would think if I was watching in my browser and using liverstreamer that I would be pulling the same data twice all at the same time (basically doubling bandwidth consumption). I have read a little bit about 'piping' but don't really understand how it works or how to attempt it.

I'm trying to figure out what the best method for the least chance of mistakes. I would prefer giving the recording priority over the VLC playback/display of a live stream.

I hope I'm explaining properly what I am attempting to ask. Please ask me for more details if I'm not explaining myself well enough. Thanks for everyone's help in the past. this forum is a great resource!

The sound is ok - at least for me. Unfortunately YouTube has removed all the videos from the website.

I downloaded the above video in 1080p and the sound is completely fine..only thing is i had to increase the volume.the audio is pretty low that's all but its clear only.

the sound was like very low bitrate to me, someone uploaded a .flac version of the audio from the streaming on mega and it sounds awesome! (of course it is lossy, but probably its the best you can get from the streaming)

Anyone here downloaded the 1080p Steven Wilson stream from Yahoo?
I'm not sure that the ones posted on youtube were real 1080p videos.

As stated before, Yahoo Live Nation concerts are streamed in 1080p. Other resolutions are available as well: 720p etc.
Someone recorded the MPEG-TS stream in 1080p and uploaded it directly to YouTube.

Thanks for your answer.
I've had sniffed all the possible links using URLSnooper2 for the 1080p links without success, only get the 720p links (Master m3u8), so still can't get the 1080p links for some future concerts.
