Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...I never could get adownloader to work. I must be doing something wrong. The program not being in english probably doesn't help me either.

Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...Adownloader has never worked for Hulu to the best of my knowledge, unless it was way back in the past, before Hulu started changing things around with their streaming. It's always stating "in progress" in the scroll on the top bar.

Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...I DIDN'T said Adownloader downloaded hulu PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I SAID.... I said (In a nutshell) now that getflv doesn't rip hulu anymore, they are basicly the same.... EXCEPT adownloader is free and can rip nfl, cbs, nbc, logo, vh1, mtv and pretty much everything getflv can do. Also the dev "denobis" is easily availble on twitter for help. UNLIKE GETFLV staff

Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...I did pay attention to what you said. It was a bit ambiguous, and could be interpreted both ways. If you had said NOW Adownloader does everything that GetFLV does, then it would have been more clear.

Re: GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...I'm trying to download a akamaihd stream that comes with a short lived signed edgeauth token (hdnt"s") that has probably 5 second life when it gets to the browser.
I cannot get GFLV to start saving the stream after opening the manifest: akamaihd.net/z/.../.../manifest.f4m?hdnts=xxxx exp=1460891981 The video isn't encrypted. The url has to be fetched within the life of the token "exp"iry (epoch time value), with the same browser cookies as the IE kernel page that also contains the CDN token (but a long life one, hdnt"l") and session id in cookies as quickly as I can click on download, it just does not work.. well, it does to a point because it does fetch the m3u8 and prompts for the bitrate I want to save, which means it does get to fetch the manifest? After I quickly select the stream bitrate to save, the app just instantly crashes (application not responding, click here to close). Anyone got this working? Would like some support as I bought the app just to record this thing and it's obviously not working. I have spent a fair bit of time on packet captures to see the interaction between the browser and CDN and see the video sessions working from the in browser player. |
