My windows defender identified 'Win32/Pocyx.gen!B!plock' ad a trojan in cam4cmdline, anyone having the same issue?

Cam4cmdline is 100% clean. Cam4cmdline has been obfuscated, which turns the source code into a tangled mess, so it can't be decompiled so easily.

Virus/malware writers use obfuscators to hide their malicious code, which gives their .exe a certain signature. Anti-virus software put this signature in their virus database. The problem is that every legitimate application that uses the same obfuscator, gets the same signature and is also detected as a virus by anti-virus software.

Btw, Cam4 isn't (currently) using any custom commands anymore, so the source code of the old cam4cmdline I posted on page 17 can be easily modified to work again.

Seems it's down again now, shouldn't be surprised as it has been hit or miss for a few days now as some models worked and others didn't.

Today cam4cmdline stopped to work... even if I can see the camera and there is no error, the program simply doesn't capture anything... it's stuck on 0 kb /00:00:00.

It's happened suddenly... the moment before it was working, the next every cam inserted gave this error.

Then I assume I have to wait a new version of the program... I hate all those who manage to download all these chaturbate or cam4 cam and then put them on sites that require to pay a premium to services like upstore...

And considering the amount of "Connection reset" or "Empty response" i get while browsing cam4, it won't be easy to fix "quickly"...

I hadn't big problems till today... it's just like I wrote... it was 20 min before my post and all worked perfectly... I had also I show recording for 2hr, and then nothing more... I found a wonderful model I wanted to caputer and it didn't work... and afterward every other...

I just said that (as usual) their servers/code are/is so shitty that today i had either connection reset or empty response 9 times out of 10 tries, so it would make it harder for him to try and fix his tool.

Well... let Elgero working, if he can do something (maybe is only the connection and he can do nothing, so all my hope to record cam4 shows are finished), and in the meantime I'll return to chaturbate... pity, because the best performers are on CAM4...

You dont need any C+ knowledge only a soft who call rtmpdump + wireshark + notepad + optional some linux ex. ubuntu. That all nothing more u need. How to make valid rtmpdump just find on this forum.

I was talking about C# to be able to update c4cmdline without Elgero doing it for us.

Sure the old c4cmdline source code is still available.
Sure there have been hints posted about most-likely-to-work patches, or what to look after to patch.
But, as I said, without knowing anything about C#, that doesn't get us far.

So, the soft calling rtmpdump (and answering the various custom rtmp challenges to keep the stream alive) is what exactly ?

I understood nothing... to make cam4cmdline work again what I have to do? Just a day ago all I had to do was click on a file called run.bat and insert a name... I don't know why it stopped to work, so how I can fix it using some software I don't know even what they are?

PS. I searched for rtmpdump and just the page of download for me even if it's in english seems chinese written in arabic letter (just to give an idea)...

Il someone can get the cam4cmdline work again I'll be happy and thankful, but it's beyond my capabilities using all these software or coding something...

Cam4 now using two different IP address like this:

rtmp://95.211.208.42/cam4-edge-live/rtmp://99.192.169.205/cam4-origin-live/hoekake-204-a1af1396-c806-41fc-ae9e-6b393deb820c

IDM, TubeDigger 5.45 and RMC6 recording without problems :)

btw second IP address is under -y parameter of rtmpdump line

Guys, just use rtmpdump. If you want to record these webcams, then put in some effort yourself.

The admins of Cam4 are well aware that this forum exists, because if you type "record cam4", "download cam4" or something similar into Google, then this thread is one of the first search results you get, hence the 380.000+ views it has. Every time I post an update, then Cam4 changes something to prevent it from working.

First they added a custom command that rtmpdump doesn't understand, so I posted my own rtmp commandline tool that handles the custom command. Barely a week later they changed it, so the custom command had to be sent every 30 seconds or else the download stopped after 1 minute. Then they removed the custom command and started to change the rtmp parameters, etc, etc, etc....

It's an endless cat and mouse game.

I don't know if there are specific guides/instructions posted here on the forums, but if you search for 'rtmpdump', then you will find hundreds of threads with examples that show how to use it. You can also use RTMPDumpHelper to get the required parameters.

First of all, thanks elgero for your previous tools, i used it only 2 weeks but it was really great.

After a couple of headache, i finally managed to record with rtmpdump.
I'm really, really, a noob for this, so it's a performance for me :D .

the topic "How to use RTMPDump" help me a lot.

Anyway, now i need to search if the flv file can automaticaly take the name of the model, like elgero's tool.

Sorry if there are some mistakes in my English or my wording, it's not my native language.

At now, I learn how to capture using rtmpdump, I can rename the files as you do, but I don't know how to get the rtmp url from the commandline.

Can you help me with that please? A little explanation sure can help us a lot :)
