Play in 1080p on Xbox 360 through Hdmi while recording?

I am unsure what equipment i would need to play my xbox 360 at 1080p through hdmi and record at the same time in HD. I'm not fussed if the resolution of the videos being recorded are not 1080p.

Would the Hauppauge HDPVR with a HDMI to Component splitter work? Or will i not be able to play at 1080p still.

Would the Black Magic Intensity Shuttle Work?

A point to note is that a laptop will be used to record the files on to.

Thanks.

If you have an ExpressCard34 slot on your Laptop, look for the HD80E from Timeleak allow recording up to 1080i.
