Need a packet sniffer for iPad, iPhone, iPod that doesn't need a jailbroken device.

I have found pirni-derv, a shell script add-on for Pirni, a native iPhone/iPodTouch network packet sniffer. But it requires a jailbroken phone. Is it possible to create a packet sniffer fo the device that is not jailbroken?
