MSN Webcam Recorder: Problems recording with Win VistaI had previously installed MSN Webcam Recorder on my old computer with WinXP (It's gone I got a new computer) and it worked without problems....now I have Win Vista and I have installed the latest version "Test version 1.2rc4" My problem is that I do not get anything on the NAME value which is the actual conversation or the TO - FROM Ip's which indicates the Web Cam Streaming Video. I have tried installing and uninstalling and still no dice... any Ideas?

Re: Problems recording with Win VistaI'm afraid i'm a bit unsure as to what your issue is. you mentioned in the subject you're having trouble recording, but in the post itself you mention name value,s, ip's etc.
Are you not able to RECORD MSN Webcam? Does MSN Webcam Recorder support Vista at all? Do you have a 32bit or 64bit version of Vista? Normally I would recomend a Screen Capture program for this type of recording... Replay Video Capture and WM Capture should work fine for you, since both of them allow you to record both sides of the conversation (they support recording audio from 2 different sources like your Mic and PC speakers). |

Re: MSN Webcam Recorder: Problems recording with Win VistaWell MSN Webcam Recorder pretty much sits there with nothing happening. before I used to get the IP from the person was talking to via MSN messenger and y IP It used to say e.g. 120.25.042.251 to 145.256.36.9 as an example then I could actually after the conversation export it to an avi file....well the IP are no longer there when I have a video chat.

Re: MSN Webcam Recorder: Problems recording with Win VistaHi to all .....
I have the same problem but i´m still using XP.... and MSN 2009, everytime i open a conversation , nothing happens.....but before..with an older msn ... we have to open video partner and then our own video ... and it worked fine, msnwebcam recorder starts video capture. on www.msnwcrec.arrozcru.org/help it says that : " Any incoming or outgoing Webcam stream will be identified. As of version 1.2rc1, it does detect Video Conversations. " |

Re: MSN Webcam Recorder: Problems recording with Win VistaQuote:
Another way of record MSN Messenger calls is by using Replay Video Capture or WM Capture. Unlike many other screen video capture software, these programs can record both sides of the call. p.s. I use Skype instead of MSN Messenger (Windows Live Messenger). I usually record Skype calls with Replay Telecorder, although Replay Video Capture works fine with Skype calls as well. |
